Doodz I don't even. 90's alt rock guitar bands are the best vocals of all time forever. It's a law of nature.
Next thing I know y'all be like "Up On The Sun's vocals suck, too." And then we're coming to fisticuffs.

You guys have your late eighties alt rock all wrong. First of all J is the best singer ever, lee ranaldo is the only one who can sing in SY, Kim is way to artie and into to fashion and is the worst part of SY and I blame her for the fashion show and soap opera shit, also, all her bands suck.
Pavement is better then all of this stuff. Husker du might also be.

Dude, my covers band used to do Stars, and every crowd would always have the same reaction. Look around each other, with a hint of recognition, then when we hit the first chorus everyone's eyes go wide with an "OH YEAH, I REMEMBER THIS SONG, THIS IS FUCKING AWESOME" look. It's pretty funny to watch.

Sometimes I think I'm well versed in 80's-90's altish guitar bands then someone namedrops something completely new. Pretty sure I've never heard Hum before. Listening now, intently.
