I really dig this. Someone, probably you, posted it on the Doom Room Facebook page and it was badass.

Same. Just gave tony the Druden shirt I got months ago for his B-day. He was stoked! Looking forward to the next time you guys are up here, or we're down there.

There are some interesting bands up in here I need to explore a good bit more and go through this thread more fully.

Well a short of it, I have a bunch of bands/projects.. mainly of my own creation with me at the helm of everything or online session work/collaborations since really I'm a drummer by trade. But here is a nice large portion of my work:
speedritualrecords.storenvy.com

Since this is the Ilovedoom portion I'll highlight these two of my bands..

Mountain of Beard:
http://mountainofbeard.bandcamp.com/

The full length and ep are both recorded with an Ampeg SS150 through a Krank Krankenstein 412, bass through a russian made Green Big Muff > Ampeg B4Pro > Ampeg 810 classic
The next album I'm composing I'll be using all Sunn... well aside from the bass cab.
Basically if you like Sourvein, Grief, Admiral Angry...

Yzordderrex:
http://yzordderrex.bandcamp.com/

Everything recorded with my Sunn Enforcer through a Krank Krankenstein 412, bass through a russian made Green Big Muff > Ampeg B4Pro > Ampeg 810 classic.
Basically this is me worshipping at the throne of Khanate with a little bit of Ehnahre.

Since I got my new pedal in I have some plans for some more doom related projects that won't really fit into the sound that I've developed for either band above. :)

Thank you! I'm checking that Deadhand right now... this sound pretty righteous. I have to get to the house and listen to it on something better than these shitty laptop speakers.

Horrible audio quality, but its at least something. My second time doing vocals live.

Oh, we also have Facebook, if anyone's interested

Pretty interesting. I'd have to hear more. I figured and hoped it was going to be more of the style of your avatar pic.

Does it sound similar to Womb? or a slowed down Slughog? haha I'll check it later.

We've got some weird influences. I recently just turned the guitarist on to Nails and the old Swedish scene. Its kind of fun to watch him try and get a HM-2 to work with a 5150. We're going to attempt a better quality recording tomorrow. I'll post results.

Nice. and he should be able to get it to work on that he just has to put it on the clean channel and then do adjustments from there. I used mine with my Ampeg SS's but I had to have them on the clean channels otherwise it's just ass sounding.

I'm not familiar with either band. We've been compared to lots of very different bands, but most of the time the comparisons are off... A mix of Winter, Beherit and some trad doom is not too far off the mark.

Womb was an old school death/doom band that was a side project of members of Incantation, They only used 2 distorted basses. Slughog was a really noisy sludgy doom band that had 2 bassists and they both sorta sounded like Burton C. Bell's screaming vocals from Fear Factory. Really good band.

Burmese was something I thought of later which is or was 2 bassists and 2 drummers that was harsh noise/doom weirdness. They trashed every venue they played and trashed all their equipment they had at each show. Good to see at least once.

Love some Winter and Beherit. but that's an odd combination unless it's pulling more from Beherit's electronic dabblings which I can see working with Winter's death doom industrial.

I just checked your band. it's pretty cool but It didn't really make me think of any of those bands and I kinda wished there was something more like some thick ol fuzz on that bass cause as is... it sounds like a very long intro into a song and not an actual song.

Fair enough, man. Some get it, others don't.
