I have no idea if this question should be posted here, but oh well....how do i start building my own pedals? What do i need? what are the initial cost? what should i learn about/read before building? I can't find a pedal with the tone, depth, etc that i want, so i want to build my own. Send me a PM or email if you can help me. email= simmons_zack@ymail.com

Thanks :)

Did you record yourself painting these so we can know how come they're so damn pristine?

Also, if I had any money, I would put it to this.

Damnit, your paintjobs are always the best. I like the lo-fi timbre, though that second clip is insane. Feedback at it's finest.

I totally need to use your vibrato more. You can never have a guitar be too dark and seasick-sounding.

clear epoxy resin (the stuff where you mix two of)
one single, thick, syrupy coat! :joy:
no polishing necissary, it just looks like that when hard.

its just a simple ring mod. some pretty good tones came out at the end of this clip (same pedal, prior to paint job).

Dual 40106 dual oscillator.

Having a lot of fun with this through a TBD with a DD3 in the loop. The TBD is also my first Ilovefuzz pedal.

This is a BYOC analog chorus. One of the older-style kits. The new ones look a bit different.

I've been scratch building so long, I almost forgot how much fun it is to build from a complete kit. I did opt for a pair of mono enclosed jacks instead of the kit jacks.

Sounds pretty damn good.

The finish is Duplicolor MetalCast Ground Coat, then some MetalCast Blue, and finally a very light top coat of clear. Then I ink-stamped the control lettering and other decoration. There is a nice bit of deep sparkle from the Ground Coat, but it's hard to see in the photos.
