I always thought my RC20 did a good job at keeping my tone. Do you have the XL one?

just the normal RC20. Even if I bring the level on it to unity, when I unplug it it completely changes everything. I don't think it's the buffer, since I run it at the end of chain. Don't get me wrong, I like it, and it sounds good, but everything sounds different with and without it, idk if it adds a little compression or something. Maybe it's just that cold digital hostility, opposed to analog warmth

Don't bring that mess in the DC forum.

Ahha yeah, sitting in their trees munching their f*cking eucalyptus while we get overcharged on everything even though the currency is strong.
thanks for the offer! I think I'll wait til prymaxe gets them though, they always work out the cheapest with coupon codes and $7 shipping. At $129 US retail that's like $117 shipped if they do 15% off.
I might buy two... then i can chuck one in the middle and one at the end of the chain and get some loop-ception goin on.

The only thing I'm bummed about is the undo/redo. You have to hold it for 1.3 seconds or whatever to activate either, but then it just comes back in. Hard to create a well timed into/exit of the overdub. It would have been awesome if you had to hold it for 1.3 seconds, then once you depress the switch anytime after that 1.3 seconds the undo/redo would occur.
But I still wanna try one / get one.
EDIT: Well shit, this guy just made me eat my words. At 3:30, he timed that shit pretty well:

Pedal does what it should as it should. Most excellent. One day someone will make a looper demo that'll get me excited...
