Now if the black one only came with a maple fret board and a Kahler whammy.

Heh... I am totally lusting after a jag bass. If you want to do some mods anyhow, you can get cheapies at Rondo. I'm thinking of going that route for my next Frankenstein bass project.

Posted before, but that's what this is:

Image

Dimarzio X2N, Split P, Pro Track
6-way mode switches on the guitar pups, series/parallel on the P pickup
2 switches to pup pickups in series with each other in any combo of 2 or all 3.
2 switches act as the pickup switches
Pushbutton and toggle killswitches (toggle was momentary one way, and stayed the other)
Volume, bass cut, treble cut (tone) knobs
Switch to change capacitor values
Older, solid brass Kahler tremolo
Brass fretwire
Brass nut
Sperzel locking tuners.

BBQ grill paint and lacquer finish.

The problem is that I started that project before I knew how to wire things... or work on guitars at all. So it eventually became... not worth fixing. But it's too awesome to use for parts. :-)

The Rondo basses are better built than you'd think. They cut corners on electronics and hardware (about squire quality), but the woods seem to be really good, and the neck is nice and stable. I just wish the necks were a bit fatter.

Have three atm.
Image
Left, Ibanez Roadstar 335 I think
Right, MIJ Squier Strat (SQ serial) with Tom Anderson pickups
Both amazing guitars

Another picture of the squier

I also have this pink roadstar that I don't really use. The neck feels a little too flat for me.

I need to take a pic of it first... so far all I have is a neck from a Telecaster i stole from my friend on a Danelectro Pro body.
The pickups are kinda weak so i want to get them changed, and i can't get it to intonate properly so as of right now that project is a complete failure.

These count as guitars, right?

Any other "guitar" players out there?
(Anyone using old analog synths through fuzz/od/mangling pedals)?
If so, please drop me a line - I'd love to hear what you're using (maybe even literally).
There just isn't enough of this sort of thing on EwwTube.

My Agile LP copy.

Suits my 6 string needs. I would like new pickups... but it works.

Note how it only has 4 strings. I'm just that awesome. :haha:
