I just can't watch her videos without thinking it's one of those video chat porn site advertisements that pop up when I'm... browsing the web. I'm not really against it, I just don't like the way she does it. I doubt complaining will fix anything though.

This. A bajillion times over.
Also, Devi's point about personal style is well taken. Where would Gearmandude be without his white coily cable and snakeskin boots? Or Burgs without his loverly accent and cameos from his daughter?

Yea, I can see the niche (by niche I mean massive crowd of Internet dudes aroused by someone exploiting her sex for attention) market she's trying to tap. I don't really care how anyone spends their time, and I encourage an entrepreneurial spirit. But I can see Aen's side... Seems pretty calculated. But flat out, the demos don't hold my attention and the quality leaves much to be desired IMO.
And of course Devi's involved. Who would've guessed.

Devi - You missed the WHOLE POINT of Aen's post, which was that sexism is rampant in the music industry, and everywhere else too.
FBG is marketing SOMETHING other than reviews. That's the BS.
I don't want my girls to think they have to take off their shirt for dudes to pay attention to them in music. But the sad fact is that they probably do...

I wrote a whole big response to everything that I have seen about FBG, and sexism, and music, but it got really long, meandered around a bit, and may stand to offend - although I don't think it can actually be offensive to anyone, but people seem to get offended by everything these days.
If you want to read it, I uploaded it here:

Enjoy. Or don't. Whatever.

This has been the longest, most obnoxious Advertisement/Brand Launch ever, can it just die already? If people want to watch FBG demos, they can, we don't need constant updates and mysterious posts about upcoming projects.
Maybe the negative reaction is coming from the aggressive marketing being employed. It's old already and it just started. TGP and HCFX have been over it since day 1, why not ILF??
The topic that just won't die.

I agree with Mr. and Mrs. Dwarfcraft. It's hard to argue the point when it's presented like that.
On the opposite end of the spectrum, I'm probably one of the few that think that it's messed up that a man's penis is used against him to gain access to his time, wallet, influence, and now gear! And is presented in a way that he is in control, but in reality his isn't. I don't want to be a puppet, but it's nearly impossible to go against the current when it's only "natural/normal" to sprinkle a little sex on everything. Makes for a sticky situation. I'm not against sex, sex is awesome!, but when did it stop being something for the bedroom... or bathroom... or kitchen..... or on a back street in the back seat of a Yukon?

And when did that become ok? To say this is solely about sex and expression is a cop out for bigger issues. Those who don't have issues with the rules are playing on the winning team... or have a desire to play the game.
Aen, and Mrs. Aen...... you get 2 thumbs up in my book.
It was already said in another thread, but I really appreciate being a member of a forum when really intense point of views can be discussed without the Banhammer being unleashed. It's a different subject when people start to get disrespectful.

I warn you, it meanders. It was one of those things where I started writing, went off on tangents, realized towards the end, and tried to somehow navigate my way back to the original point. I just didn't want to bog down the thread with its length.
EDIT: In retrospect, maybe meander is the wrong word. A better way of saying it would be, "I just talk about whatever I want to talk about for a page, and some of the stuff loosely relates back to this thread."
