Update time.

So it turns out its a good fucking thing I decided to forgo sleep in favor of binge watching house, cause according to the electrician that we had come by if i wasnt awake my girlfriends house would have burnt to the ground! Turns out it was a major short in some 90year old wiring that finally blew to the point where it would have caught fire had we not called sooner. So as of right now my girlfriends house is out of power for the next month or so, so both girlfriend and my son will be staying at my house for a while.

So yea, a nutty change of scenery.

Man, I'm tired of being shit on every time I offer a simple suggestion that could help improve things at the store. One of our main competitors is moving a bit further away, and we are really missing a lot of opportunities to pick up some extra students and customers. But my boss is lazy, clueless, and blissfully ignorant.

Fucking hate Ticketmaster. All these presales and now Premium Seating (they are basically scalping their own tickets) how the fuck is the general public suppose to battle resellers to get good seats. Refreshed exactly at 10 and the concert was sold out. Had a browser open with the other date that went on sale, at the same time, and all that some left was extreme nosebleeds or seating behind the stage so you literally could see shit but the crowd.

They'll release more good seats closer to the concert date.

What show was it?

One of my best and longest friends is getting into conspiracy theories really hard.... like the David Icke shit....
Every time I humor him and look some of this shit up, the holes in these theories are so glaring..... I can't take any of it seriously and I hate to see someone I've been so close to get so caught up in it.

Yeah, those things can be scary. Would be interesting to know what happens in the brains of conspiracy theorists - seems sorta manic and usually takes up most of their time...

Had some friends standing on the edge of conspiracy nutism. The best you can do is argue calmly with them, and getting them to read criticism, different views etc. Best of luck!

An introduction to porn sites might also decrease their time for conspiracy sites.

If he were that easily distracted we wouldn't be close friends.

What I really need to point out to him are a few big things:
- IF David Icke really believed all his horseshit, he wouldn't be selling his books or his "information." He'd be giving it away for free. Also he claims to have gotten some of his "facts" from visions and shit..... If those things are giant red flags I don't know what is.

- Conspiracy theories like his operate on the same (non)logic as major religions like Christianity. In short, "You can't dis-prove it so it must be real."

It just saddens and infuriates me to see a close friend fall for this.

I don't even believe that I'm laying this out on an internet forum. But, went out with a nice young lady tonight, it was her birthday, she sucked face with an acquaintance of ours, acquaintance has a live in girlfriend that I know. Oh ok, well, happy birthday I guess. Yeah, shit happens, but finding out I'm the patsy is the fucking nail in the coffin. Jesus Fucking Christ I don't know what to do with myself.

The one positive thing here might be that you found out about all this now rather then later. Those people are idiots and you don't need idiots in your life. And they certainly don't deserve you. Don't hang around them anymore. Believe me, it'll be their loss.
