I saw The Body with Thou a few years back. I had no idea who they were and I was tired and ready to go sit outside but their gear was interesting so I stuck it out. Live it just blew me away. That volume and bass can not be replicated on an album. Their new album, the collaboration with Haxan Cloak is super fucking dark and amazing. Fortunately they seem to play here once a month or so. Their albums are really unique and creative. I love the choir shit and the collaborations.

Nah, I held out and sold my 2204 instead. I've actually been using it as my main guitar for the past few shows. That's interesting about the Monson having an SG neck. Makes me want a Monson that much more but I can't shake that GAS for another tele. Been regretting selling mine ever since it left the UPS store. I just have no disposable income since I have this wrist surgery to pay for.

My main is always the LP but I was being lazy and left the SG at the practice space so I wouldn't have to load gear. Which Tele are you unloading?

I bet they'll still sound like Meshuggah.

Which is awesome. Band is rad.

I love their live album, Alive. They're incredibly tight live, unlike some other technically-enthused metal bands.

so...SG's...i fuckin' love my SG...i've now had it for a year, and its still my number one. Everything about it...the feel, the comfort, the look...i wont comment on the sound as mine is a p90 one, but i don't think i would ever sell it.

i have nothing against LP's, and i've already told the wife that in a couple of years, as part of my midlife crisis (when i turn 40) i will be getting my dream guitar which is a silverburst LP custom...but...there is something special about an SG...they just sound lively compared to anything else i've played.

Interesting about Mashuggah going with Matamp...didnt think that would be their cup of tea...but regardless, they will sound as massive as always. I never dug them...even now i dont listen to them...but i did see them live, and that was one of the best live experiences ive had. They are up there with bands like Slayer, who just kill it live.

soo checkin out the body now. this rules! :!!!:

boo, I hope my shit sounded as good as this in person

also, on my way home, this totally ruled. sitting at a looong ass redlight, due to suckers going to work (im going home from my nightshift)

so there was a sprinkler ontop a 3 foot or so wall watched a kid (prolly 8 or so) hop up on the wall , that's soaking due to the sprinkler being fucked up. hopped up there took a kick swing at said sprinkler, missed. I thought

"you little fucking shit if you were my kid"

at that moment took another kick at it :BOOM: sprinkler breaks and erupts like he wants it to, BUT that little shit slipped, fell, face fucking plant CRACK onto the sidewalk below. head fucking first. fucking bloody mouth, bloody nose, the whole 9 yards. kid gets up and stands there and crys

am I totally fucked up for pointing and laughing at the kid hysterically or no?

I want an sg to compliment my LP. The baritone alpine white sg seems pretty cool

And I fucking worship meshuggah, fascinating about the Matamp thing, seems pretty opposite from the sort of tones they usually go for
