Haha! It's probably my equal favourite pedal in a tie with the EAD4096 (90210).

The dirge is really the heart of my board now. It sits second last in the chain (there's weird routing on my board so I can get to it easy). Everything runs into the Verellen - which is a pure preamp for me and never switched off. I run delays, verb, Univibe, Looper (DL4) and all of my dirt into it. I use the dirge by itself to boost the Verellen into mild breakup or crank the rat circuit to get a nastier tone. I use really light compression or boost if I ever get a bad amp at a venue. But the best thing about the 3 in1 is that it's a stacking monster. I run delay into compression and it's the best sound I've found in ages - repeats at equal volume with my attack whenever I want to push them. Then I can either boost or distort the repeats at that flat level if I want. I also use the boost to get the best out of the Univibe and the Arc Green Pi. I can also warp the hell out of the other dirt pedals if I want. Or just to top it off, I can set a loop on the DL4 and use Dirge goodness to make it sound crazy (Rat into a double time loop is fun). It's a Swiss Army knife.

I can't say enough good things about it man. It's just a great sounding simple pedal. I know there's strymons and eventides and fancier stuff out there but this is the best sounding delay I've found.

it's so insane. it's a perfect complement for a Timeline, or if you have room to tweak settings live.

love that thing.

My board hasn't really changed

I was messing around with this at home today though. It's lots of fun. My OC-2 is modded and has a gnarly square wave synth sound

I'm loving it, its in the same arena as an Elements on full bore high gain, but the EQ is very different. It is so far my fav high gain distortion pedal I've tried do to the massive lows and cutting but full mids, but the Elements being a close second.

I've been loving the sounds from this guy. The new ILFDD is so much fun. Run the delays and chorus through the effect loop. All fuzz out front. At some point on Saturday I think it had the Fuzz Gun, EAR and ILFDD all oscillating at the same time. What a racket. I loved it!
