It's funny because one of my favorite pieces of gear is like a ringmod machine. I just don't find it that "cool" or useful for the stuff I normally do.

Three Trapped Tigers are awesome! And I've actually thought about asking good sir Teej about making a glitch pedal, with latching lofi freeze and momentary stutter madness. Maybe the Raptio update will cover this? I've tried other freeze-type pedals, but nothing sounds as sweet, otherwordly, and fits as neatly beneath my jamz as the Raptio. Sometimes it'll sound like a string section, other times as a faint scream. And when I run it into my She Fuzz...

Anyway. came here to post this, as it's not an oscillating fuzz, and I didn't know where else to put it. Do we have a MASF thread?

Haven't played around with the Kollaps for a long time, actually had a lot of fun with it this time around. Kinda made me lust for trem. Which in turn made me gas for the Tremulust.

Just had to chime in and reiterate how amazing Three Trapped Tigers are.

I just had a great jam by myself with a pedalboard I just threw together, and I think it's confirmed the feeling I had that I'll be staying pedge for a while. I'm at a point now where I really like everything I have, it doesn't all fit on one board, and the music I want to play doesn't call out for loads of effects anyway. So it's time to pedge and save money for bigger gearz.

Pharaoh -> Harmonic Percolator is ridiculously nice. Such a tasty combo.

There is a MASF thread I think floating around...but it is probably 40-60 pages deep or something. At least I remember one? I'll go looking, haha...

And the ring mod thing: I know people use them, but does the amount of use justify the variety? Like Moog has 2 in production, ehx has 2 or three, it is in a lot of digital multifx (probably because it is one of the simplier effects to program), eurorack/modular have a ton, Fairfield, DOD has one, Heavy, Copilot has 3 I think, MASF, LAL has 2, etc...my question was more directed at people that buy them more than anything...

I started going down the rabbithole of trying to find the perfect gear for a certain application( controlling all the parameters on my Big Sky, Timeline, Gravitas, and Spectre from the same location. I came to the conclusion. I could build exactly what I wanted, but waste a whole bunch of time and money. A wall mounted midi fader bank with one fader per control. (3 banks of 64 faders)
Or I could be realistic and just buy a midi fighter and shoe horn it into doing what I want. With the added bonus of being more flexible for other applications.

And after wasting about 4 hours making an inventory and pricing everything I'm not going to get, I'm now listening to the CT5 drone on in tranquil beauty.
