Hey Scott (or anyone else who might know), every once in a while the mix on my ct5 gets stuck so that even if I turn the knob completely CCW I still hear the effected signal. It just stays at the same volume it seems. Is there a fix for that? Do I need to update? Mine is relatively new - I got it fall of last year

Also is there a way to change the default on startup? I almost exclusively use +/-Oct and 5 so it'd be nice to have it that way when I turn the pedal on.

Thanks!

Mine does this too. It's doing so currently.
Was considering resoldering the legs of that part of the pot but if you're out of luck too maybe it's something else?

If it is broken you can email me for the address to send it for repairs. I am out of the office until wednesday but have some internet access, I will try to get back to you asap.

There is no way to save the q mode but we have added this for the next update. Hopefully i will release it around end of feb.

Sweet, I'll bust out the soldering iron on the weekend and see what I can destroy do.

IIRC it's a dual gang pot - which set of lugs is the clean volume Scott?

^ I had this same problem last year. It could go full wet, but I could never dial the ratio below about 50/50.

I can't find the info on the site, so sorry if I missed it, but I have a rev h ct5 that's never been updated; what features are included in the latest firmware for rev h? cheers

here is the only h/i update iirc.

http://mtlasm.blogspot.ca/2015/08/count ... 3-for.html

Changes/bug fixes:
Three new quantizations. Original options were not quantized, chromatic and perfect fifths/octaves. The three new options are whole tone scale, diminished triad and augmented triad.

You no longer have to "tap" to set the quantization in mode 1, you "hold" the soft switch then move the DIR 1 knob. The position of the DIR 1 knob upon release of the soft switch determines the quantization. For most rev i boards, this is similar to the firmware that shipped, but very old boards shipped with the "tap" style firmware. Note that this still only holds in mode 1, but sets the quantization globally (all modes).

When the DIR 1 knob is not quantized, the expression pedal when assigned to DIR 1did not give a full sweep for 10k expression pedals. This is now fixed. (thank you TK for pointing this out).

Mode 3 punch in position has changed. In the original firmware overdubs in mode 3 would always start at the beginning of the recorded sample. This has now been changed. Overdubs will now punch in at the position of the sample that the DIR 1 head is at.

"Offset" trim pot functionality handled in software. You no longer have to worry about the position of this pot. As a corollary, the calibration mode previously entered by booting the pedal with the soft switch down has been removed from the firmware.

awesome, thanks. I was wondering why nothing changed when I held down the soft switch and messed with dir 1  do you plan on any further updates for rev h/i?

i am not sure.

i am doing a very large update for k and L right now. then i will put that to rev j too, or what can be easily carried over. since there is no Q toggle on h/i most of the new features have no way to be accessed on the h/i versions. but somethings could be, like transcendence. there are not very many h/i units (~5% of all ct5s?) so it has not been a focus to update them anymore, but if some things can be easily added i will make an update.

Hey all - I made this reference card as an alternative to the one by Nick Gills for firmware 0.963 on rev k/l. If there's incorrect/confusing/misleading info let me know and I'll revise it. I will also revise it after the next major firmware update.

Hope it helps & thanks for the box of inspiration, Scott. :!!!:
