For a single one offf build, little to no reduction in price. A signal pcb that would fit all of the main components could easy cost 200+ for a single fab of the board. So while there is a trade off in some labor there is little difference in final cost.

Its only cheaper when you order many of the same pcb for the same amp ect

Yeah, I figured as much.
Do you have a design you'd be happy committing to large-scale like that?
By which I mean, would you want to be doing the DA-model stuff or, would you want to present something you'd consider more original and more of a representation of your design philosophy, say the wizard for example?

So basically any reverb's gonna sound like a bunch of buttholes in front of my redbear because there's no effects loop?

Not necessarily. It might sound fuckin' cool as hell. You might dig it. There's a lot of effects and uses of said effects in modern music that don't sound good in theory, but sound really cool, and work for what the music is going for. In the right context, fuck the rules of effects order, "how good" some pedal sounds, how well-regarded, etc etc

I use my reverb with my Micro Terror (no fx loop) and it sounds fine.

I'll send you my bill at the end of the month. (Hint: your original links used "https" instead of "http" - that shit don't work for embedding.)

Just got my Hydrahead "30 cds for 40 bucks" mystery box. Looks like some good shit- totally worth it, if only for not having to find the 4 discs I already own. Couple weird dvd's included also. Check it out if you got some loot to blow on random tunes

I use it at the end of my chain into clean amp and it works beautifully. However, not that i have the JCM900 head, and i use i the pre-amp gain on about 5, to give me a slightly dirty clean, the reverb now sounds too much, almost like a delay pedal...so i'm thinking that for my Marshall set up i need a more subtle reverb effect. How is that Biyang for subtlety?
Yeah, the input of the Ghost changes the time of the reverb. With a heavy signal punching the input, you can emulate slapback. I love that quirk, but it can be annoying at times. Even in the loop of my amp, if I cook the amp too much, it'll change the dynamics of the reverb dramatically. Make sure your signal is not too hot and the Attack knob is turned all the way down.

Not necessarily. If you want a drippy, distorted wash of noise, no, it's the best place for a reverb to be. Reverb before dirt can be awesome, but if you are aiming for subtlety, put it after dirt, after your preamp.

Oh man. I haven't been here since December and I haven't bought any new pedals. I just learned to use what I have. It is quite a novel concept.

I did score a Peavey 215 for 100 dollars though. It's killer.

I saw the second captain america movie. It was really great. If you guys have been enjoying the other marvel movies then this one is definitely a must see. It actually made me go back and start watching the agents of shield show again. I had given up around the 10th episode but now I am enjoying myself. The latest episodes have gotten a lot better compared to where I had given up. End of dork glee.
