I've got a a Hardwire reverb that is pretty solid. I really like the hall setting on it but I've been wanting to try a ghost echo as well as a supernatural.

D00ders. That biyang company. 53 bucks for a power supply.

The Cadavernous is the only other reverb I have wanted to try since I got a Ghost Echo two and a half years ago. That sounds awesome.

fucking hell. Just spent 3 hours re-installing drivers and making the pc work with the new hard drive. We can record again. all our earlier stuff is fucking gone though. sucks as a few pieces were just needing vocals to be done.
the good thing is the pc now has nothing not recording related on it. the hd I put in is way better and the thing should work better than ever.

I'm pretty new to verb thing...and this forum actually. :)
But I like simplicity whenever, wherever I can get it, in a good way. The Neunaber Wet Reverb has that. I like it the more I use it. It's only a two dial box, but it's perfect for me. Transparent, ambient and what seems to be infinite trails, not overpowering though, when both are set at 9:00 or maxed. Very natural texture, IMO.

man now you fix up Computers???...fuckin' Mr Fix-It-All...is there nothing you can't do???

On the Reverb pedal...I've had the Ghost Echo for a year and i love it...it took me about a minute to set it to the settings i like and have not touched it since and along with my comp pedal this pedal is always on. I use it at the end of my chain into clean amp and it works beautifully. However, not that i have the JCM900 head, and i use i the pre-amp gain on about 5, to give me a slightly dirty clean, the reverb now sounds too much, almost like a delay pedal...so i'm thinking that for my Marshall set up i need a more subtle reverb effect. How is that Biyang for subtlety?

I know I missed a fair bit since I last posted, but I think I got the digest.
Basically:
NICK IS SENDING DUNWICH OFF TO CHINA AND ROLLING ALL "HAND ASSEMBLED IN DA USA"
:p

I wouldn't mind so much, I've never owned anything that wasn't PCB, and I'm yet to have a problem. But those turrets are so purdy. I'd like the guts of my amp to be that purdy.
How much would that reduce the cost of a build anyhow?
And could we still chuck options on?

i've just had a very interesting offer...the guy i bought the marshall head from is offering to give me the 4x12 cab for free, if i organise the courier, which should only cost about £50. the money isnt an issue...space is the issue...on the plus side, i can run both heads into the cab in stereo mode...i also have a 4x12, in case the band starts gigging...on the down side, its a big stack of amps and head in the living room, may make the wife not so happy...

Maybe try it in the loop? I don't like any reverb I've tried in front of a dirty amp either.

the truth is important...and its good to get some perspective here in the doom room...sometimes the world creates issues, things like maintaining happy relationships, lack of space in a flat and money constraints...its good to know there is a place you come to and get perspective...and the right advice!

Psssht, the real world.
What do those fuckers know about anything?
Can you have a conversation with "normal" people about viking torture/execution methods and then ask em how hot they run they power tubes win the next breath, without them backing towards the nearest exit?
I think not.
