Hey guys! It's been a while since I ever posted on a forum before, mostly a lurker.
Name's Jacob from Chihuahua Mexico just a few clicks from the border with Texas. A bass player at heart with guitar training so I mostly pitch shift and fuzz my way to annoy other guitar players. I'm a sucker for shoegaze, Math rock and any other style that involves noise.
I'm a doctor (general MD) that currently takes up most of my time but I play in a shoegaze/hard rock band that its just in the whole recording process. Found about the ILF forum after buying a Fuzzhugger AB-SYNTH 2 years ago and just now decided to join.
You guys seem pretty cool, the only other forum I was a member of was the Tooltabs.net forum which was both entertaining and cringe worthy, but that slowly died out.
Nice to meet ya dudes!

Ehhh, I don't think anyone here is really into that. This is more the kind of forum where you argue over which tube screamer clone is the best...
jk I am new too and this def seems like the weird sounds hangout I have been looking for

Hey all, I'm Tim. Mostly a bassist, came here as a lurker seeking refuge from the wilds of TalkBass, and decided this seems like a board worth joining. I've just recently started getting into pedals and other noisemakers, I'm interested in taking on some DIY projects, and if I'm gonna geek out about gear I might as well be social about it.
I mostly play garage-y, psychedelic rock and pop at the moment, but I dig all kinds of weird noises.
Pleased to meet ya.

I also love cycling and tattoos and have built a few machines/ bikes from scratch.
Bikes, tats, guitars, rock, electronics, and father of two. Definition of a cool dad.
Cheers man.... more like a geeky Dad, but your words are appreciated

Howdy. I'm a recording engineer in the Washington DC area. Mostly play guitars and synths, but get to dabble a bit in everything. I've been rebuilding a pedalboard after about 10 years of mostly using the same stuff and a client referred me here. On the side, I've worked as a photographer and beer brewer but now just do them on the side for myself.

If your username is a Mission of Burma reference, we're gonna get along just fine.
If not... well, we'll probably still be ok. But it would be cool if it was.
Welcome all!

It absolutely is. First exposure to them was a perspective-changing thing.

Sah-wheet. I only got to see them for the first time on the reunion tour, but have since made a point of catching every gig of theirs that I can.

Hi, welcome!
Your etches are super cool. First saw you when you did those etches for Joel at Chase Bliss. (Any person Joel vouches for tends to be amazing, so props to you.)
Please send me that spectre etch.
