come with me...to the analog section :p
i'd love to grab a Randy again, and a Gonk just for the sake of it but..i have come to terms with the fact that for the sake of simplicity in rehearsals and live shows (aka: cutting out the problem) i tend to prefer digital ringmods for their lack of carrier bleed. Randy's still always missed though.. :erm:

Would be nice if ring mods could take external input like stated above, or if they could morph the waveform instead of sine OR square etc.
Maybe two signals + inputs? modulating each other? Here we go, depths.

if you read the full thread, you'll understand...but you have to read the full thread.

Are these new or have I just not noticed 'em before?

finally about to get my frequency analyzer up and running again. now waiting for a switching jack so I can mod it for external carrier. Now what would be the craziest thing to feed it as a carrier?

 :thumb: how about some video synth mangled backdrop of the music video to go with?

thinking this may be a worthy contender as well

I can't remember how to post videos!

This looks good, did he start a ring mod demo by sweeping a whammy pedal first? How dumb is that? How are we to know what we are hearing after that?

You can't remember because you gotta call it a "test movie".

Good find on that test movie, btw. :thumb:

Seemed like he was using an expression pedal for the ring mod after he swept the whammy. :idk:

Looks like the Ring Modulator I didn't have expression, but the II does. :snax:

I just got a 285e back into my life (along with the rest of a SkyLab). Let the good times roll!
