The board is a custom piece by Blackbird Pedalboards. Maple strip, Electrosocket jacks, amp light and switch (though I'm not sure what I'm going to do with them yet).

Like all of you, I bet I could talk all day about what and who and why it is what it is and in that order and when I got it and what I chose it over and why and etc. etc. etc., but I'll just leave it here.

Dang, that is pretty close to my dream board. I dig those two Zvex pedals. I think they're two of the best they've ever came up with. What's in the loop of the Loop Gate? What amp do you have? Welcome to the forum, mate.

So loving this setup! I actually need another power supply now though. YIKES! I need to get rid of one pedal to make room for my incoming Improbability Drive though. WHICH ONE THOUGH????????? Do I need 3 muffs???????? I thinking of getting an Eventide Powerfactor. Anyone have any thoughts on that sucker? Only problem is I only need to power 3 more pedals. Maybe I should just get a bigger power strip. It's probably the cheapest and smartest solution.

Thanks for the welcome :hello:

I put my compressor, dirts, and ring mod in Loop Gate's loop. I use it mainly as a noise gate, but this also lets me play around with the Loop Gate's cool features. The modulation stuff is out of it because they're in the second chain (for an effects loop), but a cool side effect is they can keep making noise even if the signal is already gated (i.e. I stop playing guitar). These are definitely my two favorite Zvex pedals too :thumb: the Sonar's probably my favorite tremolo ever, is surprisingly flexible, and I love the Machine sound on its own even though it's supposedly ugly, even according to Zvex.

Out of curiosity, what would be different in your dream board? I didn't really pick these to play with each other. I liked each one of them individually when I tried them out, and now they're a family. It's actually my first pedalboard, and I had a fun time experimenting what order the effects should be in. As it turns out, a lot of it is pretty logical; even a few of the choices I made that were based on personal taste seemed logical after the fact.

I also have a Matchless Chieftain. I love it. Despite all this, I'm mainly a bedroom player  but I do hope to play gigs more often one day.

Love the H9!!! So much fun!!

I thought the Space would be overkill but since I got it in trade, I figured, why not? Now I can use both!

I'll try it out and let you know. So far the Rainbow Machine seems pretty unique.

You could always swap out the BEF pro with a Xero to make more room.
