Certainly worth paying less and waiting for it to be delivered from China. Actual retailers in the UK seem to sell them for around £80 or £90, and I don't think that is an obscene price considering how good it is.

Put this together tonight and it's like I opened up a 4th dimension in the apartment:

Three fuzzes. One OD. The proper balance I think.

Re: Let's see your PEDAL BOARD!
I posted this in the other thread just a moment ago, but:
I CAN FINALLY ANSWER THIS.
I tried a Fuck a long time ago when Schnikes let me borrow his. I admit I did not spend a whole lot of time with it but with everything cranked it sounded wonderful and got close to fuzz territory.
Flash forward a few months to a year and I got my first Mini. Use it religiously.
Flash forward to yesterday and I get a Fuck.
So to compare the two- the Mini can get more fuzzy. As such I like using it towards the front if the chain as a pre dirt booster and general overdrive. The bias control in my opinion is vastly different from Fuck crackle- more stable, ie it doesn't have a threshold that it needs to cross for the bias to start working. Where the Fuck can sound blown out, the Mini gets Lofi, full of Velcro and starvation, but not unstable blown speaker stuff.
The tone controls are vastly different between the two- on the Fuck the tone simply rolls of highs, but on the Mini you can actually shape the EQ a bit with the two tone knobs. It's not like SUPER RIDICULOUS exaggerated tone control a la a DOD Death Metal or anything, but you can do more than just roll off highs.
But I found myself wanting to do two things with the mini- have it in the front as a near fuzz/fuzzy drive, and have it post everything other than stereo delay/verb so that I could get those sunburnt trails that I love after my mono delays and verbs. Both of them sit at the end of the chain wonderfully, but damnit do I love having the Fuck at the end, crackle on, using a volume pedal to control the signal volume coming into the Fuck to make it either crackle or just do its sunburnt thing, threshold set high.
As far as bass goes- the Mini definitely shines with its EQ system in keeping the low end it tact a little more or even being able to slightly boost it. But both still sound awesome on bass.

It has been a minute. Here is what I've been playing my mando through recently. Needs another fuzz but other than that I love this board.
