messin around trying to get close to some of the anti-nautilus back and forth action using the particle into possessed. used the koma ft201 step sequence cv out into expression in on particle controlling the direction probability of the reverse. wound up being its own cool thing.
recorded a little clip

That is really cool UG. I miss my particle now. Honest question: a few years ago, the market for glitch pedals was entirely different than today. That's when I saw that one Anti-nautilus video and went bananas over it. In these times of reason, the market for glitch pedals it really saturated, like with even malekko releasing a glitch type thing. Obviously sonic crayon has legendary mythical status, but is it honestly a unique thing in the glitch game nowadays?

Speaking of glitches, I played a bit with my microgranny (heh) through reverb, pitchfactor and timebender. Kinda pleasant results imo

That sounded great :thumb: I love the microgranny. i've been messing around with running two of them at the same time playing the same sample with the same settings...and then slowly changing the shift speed and grain size etc. on them both. good times.

I haven't played that new malekko one, but like the others i have the Anti is similar in some ways but has its own things going on too. I'm still getting to know it but i can think of a couple things that seem unique....how it plays back the grains, it does different sorts of modulation and can bounce their direction forward/reverse in a real unique way. running the particle into the possessed gave a not quite similar direction changing playback of the grains from the particle, while the possessed chopped up the grains more like the Anti does. also, i think the Anti rearranges the order of the grains too, along with flip flopping their direction but not 100% certain yet. and the Anti does its freeze/sound on sound in a way that lets multiple lines overlap, you can hear that in the first clip i posted playing Ziggy through it. running a granular into another granular is pretty awesome though, gonna explore that more for sure :omg:

Thanks for the answer! Definitely a cool thing.

And thanks for the compliments :)

Playing around with Clouds and Ultra-Random with the Detect envelope follower doing most of the modulation. I thought the Patch Box was DOA when i couldn't get it to power on...after much head scratching i discovered it needs to have a cable hooked up to the output first. Recorded a little clip with acoustic guitar
