Looking good stripes! I just picked up a romferd partially because of you. I think I'm going to be trying a similar deal in a few days when everything gets here. Romferd>rv3>delay>fuck od. Can't freaking wait!
They're all looking good, just that really speaks to me.

Ah, I'm not the only one using a Reface YC with effects then (my current YC setup is YC -> PS-3 -> RV-3 -> Mini -> PS-3 -> EHX 22500)
Try adding some nice overdrive/fuzz too and playing with the drawbars to make the harmonics interact with the dirt.

Funny you should say that -- just about the only thing I don't like about the reface is the on-board distortion, and I actually have a mini on the way. Definitely hear you about using drawbars and/or rotary to interact with pedals dynamically, I've been toying with the sensitivity on the synth wah so the Leslie triggers it each time.
Dual PS-3s sounds fun, how are you using those?

Page is off to an excellent start fellas. Ugly, what do you think of that boss vocoder? Been thinking of getting one for doing daft punk stuff on the cheaps.

It's fun! I don't know what else to say, haha. It works, sounds like you'd expect. Tracks all the way down to low E on bass.

I actually don't dislike the onboard distortion in the YC, it's not awesome but it's useful to add more dirt to another overdrive/fuzz...
Most dirt pedals I've tried work pretty well with the YC, but the Mini is my favourite. I bought a second Mini to be able to dedicate one to the YC

.
And currently the first PS-3 is in dual detune mode to get a nice fat chorus and the second one is just set up as a delay. But the beauty of the PS-3s is that each pedal can quickly go from delay to chorus to pitch shifter to glitchy sound-fucker. The RV-3 is nice for similar reasons, reverb/delay/reverb + delay. And I like that both of these in delay mode can glitch nicely when desired, too.
Btw, I turn the leslie off most of the time, some pedals sound very different when it's on...

Simplified my board down to the Box of Metal- Grayscale RAT- Bitquest- ES-2- RV-3 from like 14 pedals for a show tonight and it was honestly great. I felt way more free to move and all of my bases were covered as far as tones. I'm getting a Judder to fuck with oscillations and use as a glitch/stutter pedal, and considering a pitch fork in place of the Bitquest but that's about it.
