Here's a Rat clone I made with madbean's "Slow Loris" PCB. LM308N, reutz mod, switch that toggles between standard clipping, LED clipping, and no diodes.. This thing fucking rules. It's pretty versatile and it sounds sweet I'm really diggin it.

Thanks dude! I must've started a few months ago. I think I've made somewhere between like 7-10 pedals?

Thanks behndy and fuzzmax!

Jero - thanks! the other pedal is a meathead that I haven't gotten working yet. I wired it up and it didn't work and I haven't really looked at it yet. I just started messing with a DMM that my brother gave me so I think I'll have to use that to figure out what I did wrong.

Oh yeah and that ptp SM is like halfway done. I can't wait to finish that thing cause they sound so sick on bass!

For the meathead, check your transistor pinout. The bc182 is different. That's like 90% of the problems people have with them I think...that and the caps being wrong/outdated on a lot of the layouts.

For the SM, don't forget, the 10k resistor on the top row jumping lug 4 to 7. IvIarks layout has it going to an 8th lug, then a jumper from there to the 4th.

Yea those guitar sounds on Atomizer and Metal Circus are blazin' I'll probably get to the Harmonic Perc next week.

Sounds good! I always enjoy chatting about the culture, etc.

Say, I had a chance to give the Pepper Spray a more in-depth run-through this weekend. I had been wondering about the octave down it can apparently get sometimes. I've mainly been running it with balance and harmonics wide open, with the Ge diodes selected. Well, I cranked my amp to the point of just breaking up, and I noticed I was getting this really bassy quality to the notes. When I played above the 12th fret or so, it was almost synth-like! With the same amp volume, if I then backed the balance knob back to about 2 o'clock, it went back to the same fuzzy overdrive I was getting at lower amp volumes. I'll be curious if you notice the same thing. Seems like the relative balance between amp volume and pedal output volume make a big difference in how it sounds.

WHO is the madman that said, "yeah, that's pretty fucking awesome...... but can you make it big enough that it's the only thing that'll fit on my pedalboard?"? WHO?

 Some guys only rock a couple pedals at a time. Guy wanted it big, I didn't question it.
