heh, sorry :)

its the camper van that gave it away, great cinematography throughout that film from the opening shot in the woods onwards

famous book, and apparently obscure film which never seems to be shown on tv for some reason.
the director made a couple of very famous films before and after this one, with a very famous pair of actors ...

see if that helps with any detective work, and i'll dig out another screenie or 2

I think you picked one I haven't seen or I'm having a massive brain fart. I'm drawing a blank...

Spill it :)

maybe you can recognise someone in it

I dunno man... my first guess when I saw that was "Five For Hell" with Klaus Kinski but I know it's not that and I don't think it's 1972 either.

I'll admit I'm stumped :grumpy:

Woww..... Slaughterhouse Five.

I shamefully admit I have no memory of ever seeing that movie. I read the book probably 20 years ago and should have recognized it from the imagery in the last 2 clues.

I looked it up on youtube and it still doesn't register with me.... time to watch it now.

Damn man, nice job. :thumb:

yeah, at first i thought it was just me, but it seems to have completely slipped out of movie history for some reason.
i only saw it for the first time a couple of years ago.

george roy hill made it in between directing butch cassidy and the sundance kid, and the sting, so its not like it was some obscure b-movie made by nobodies
