Yep, it has a neat humbucker stacked up against a single coil or something.

The thing I like about those Hamers' overall design is the pickup selector is way back outside of your strumming area.

I was able to get a two for one deal on 4" wide black on black. Makes my 11lb bass a lot more comfortable to play.

I am not a fan of really wide straps. They are just unpleasant to my eye.

But if you want a 70 dollar strap, Couch has a super limited edition strap that's $75.

I agree with you on the wide strap Fooman,...but for as heavy as my bass is,...it helps distribute the weight and keeps it from killing my back too bad.

Eventually I'll have a lighter bass and will switch back to 2.5.

In re doublecuts.

Keep an eye out. My boss and I will be putting out a LPDCjr and Tele inspired guitar in a month or so.

I need to repost a picture of one of my guitars here. It's getting more and more beat up. And it had a worn look to begin with. There's now painters tape holding the volume knob in place, screws missing, etc. lol

I meant to post this awhile ago. It's a mustang I build about a month ago. I got all the parts from warmoth, it has gfs lipstick pick ups. Swamp ash body, and it has a maple neck with an ebony fretboard. Everything is wired up normal. 4.9k in the bridge, and 8k in the neck. I've never had a guitar feel so versatile. In phase is nice and twangy, out of phase is nice and chunky, but not overwhelming. The bridge has a good quackyness by itself, but is (obviously) a little weak, and the neck is super chewy goodness. I drew the headstock logo, and wrote antler on the pick guard. I've added a Tennessee flag in between the p'ups since this picture. The whole thing has a satin finish, and the grain is pretty present. Masked elwd's thread inspired me to try and paint it myself, and sort of have that loose attitude about it.

Needless to say, after all the beaters I've played up to this point, I love this guitar

Also the trem's on mustangs are fucking awesome. You can bend both ways and make laser beam noises. :animal:

sorry for the huge grainy picture.

I like your Mustang a lot. How do you like those lipsticks? I'm thinking of making a bastardcaster using two of those and a humbucker.

Also interested in the Pawn Shop Mustang but it's never gonna happen. Looks nice though.
