Also, my friend has a custom shop VI in shell pink. Got to see her band last night, and recalled how much I'm in love with that bass.

What model is yours Donny?

Also, you see that new Staytrem 1" Bass VI bridge I posted in the guitar forum? Looks badass...

Mine's an Agile, actually. I wasn't too committed to the idea of having a bass VI when I bought it, so I didn't want to drop two large on one. But, honestly, it plays really great. And, I love the surf green. Also, I'll have to check that out. Mine has a roller bridge instead of a regular one, which is kinda neat. Buuuuut....you know...

Ahhh, I see, makes perfect sense honestly. Total bonus that it plays well and yeah, that surf green is SICK, so much better than the standard fare finishes. :thumb:

I'll let you know how the Staytrem bridge works out, looks perfect tho. Now if I could find more string options than LaBella and D'Addario....ugh.

Yeah, it's a 30" scale tuned E-E one octave lower than a guitar like a bass, kind of an in betweener instrument for sure. Longer scale than a baritone guitar, about equal to most short scale basses but with the tight configuration of 6 strings like a guitar. Normal string sets for 'em are 25-95 to put that in a bit of perspective.
