Awesome. When ya gonna crank that mofo up? I'm picking mine up finally this weekend, that early 70s, excited!
I'm sorta interested in the new gvt 15W head to keep around the house/record with. It probably sucks and isn't anything like the old shit (beyond cosmetics) but it's a unique design regardless, at least in the "lunchbox" amp market. My friend at GC can get one to me SUPER cheap (50% off or so), gonna check it out at least. Korean made but I hear they're built solid considering plus that 5 year warranty.
2x6V6 (I love those fucking tubes!), 15W or 7.5W, nice reverb, good clean headroom, and BAX TONE STACK! Maybe Deluxe Reverb-ish/Old School Ampeg-ISH with some grind. Also, a shitload of tone-shaping capabilities with the BAX. Hear it likes the pedals too, whole slew of output options, hope it's cool.
Fully prepared for those hopes to be shattered.
