Le Fulgur is a contemporary instrument inspired by the Trautonium. I've heard 2400 EU is the targeted price. (*le sigh*) Hopefully it finds its way into some composers' studios, so we can all hear these on film scores for years to come.
It sounds like the 80s, but will it outperform all the other delays you can get in the $400-600 range? (Echosystem, Timeline, LVX) I think I'd rather have two Nemesis units, than a single SDE-3000.
first reax: niche, niche, very niche
i wonder if they know something idk about the power of Edward marketing
def not the rack recreation for which i've been yearning
oh Hosat, dear Hosat, wherefore art thou
interesting interface on Tempera!

The EVH marketing aside, there are some effects loop differences on the backs of these two Bosserings (Boss offerings).

The EVH brand must be doing Fender gangbusters, though I must say all the other EVH offerings overall have always struck me as just silly 5150'd marketing, but also totally the reflection of a guy who spent the last 20 years on planet earth mehrgrumbling the world & eventually marrying his PR person.
But if anyone wants to take my money immediately, they would haveta start sailing that Frankenstein neck by itself, but I guess......that's showbiz

Also, speaking of looming large, Fender filed a trademark for SUNN in 2022 (as per a few other forums/gergle reportagé)
Imagine! A deluxe reissue series of the KARP discography, along with a Jarred Warren sponsorship/intro vidja, and probably some other band with guys in cloaks (not that one!)?

Sde looks kinda cool but fricking pricey. It’s essentially a specialized DD-500 with throwback buttons and display—it’s all modeled vintageness on the sounds, and yeah, Roland/Boss are pretty good at that, but really? I get a bit of a premium for the WDW version for people who won’t do a separate mixer. The Van Hagar tone chasers gotta like being able to take a line tap from a head without going full rack. But I’m already there on rack and mixers, I have plenty of delays, and I don’t need to try to steal someone else’s tone.
As a practical matter, getting a delay time right and the filtering in the ballpark will convince most forum tone chasers that you’ve nailed it. So just work what you have or put premium money on stuff that gives you more options. Hell, $150 on a used Eventide MicroPitch gives absurdly good dual digital delay with mod in stereo with presets and MIDI. Run it kill dry and get a mixer if you need that—with something like a Rolls you’re still way ahead on money.

This is true. And the DD-500 has up to 10 seconds delay time. The SDE-3000D (and I think the EVH version) only up to 3 seconds.
Does hold function like the Roland SDE-3000, but nowadays there are lots of ways to canoodle that particular canoe.
nop(e)ia - i def noticed tho - i have an abiding interest in ways to streamline chord production/sequencing because i have nobody to play chords for me while i get down on my knees and twiddle my...ummm...knobs wouldn't mind watchin' a few more demos. seems to me that a common issue in this sector has been product longetivity - i feel like a bunch of options have popped up and then faded before i made up my mind to commit
but, yeah, honestly, if i had a sympathetic cohort, i wouldn't really be lookin' at these....

No pic because I'm lazy, but if you have $299 to spare, EAE is dropping (!) a new Obstructures collab today at noon Eastern Daylight Thymme, this time it's a fuzz and the manual is right here folks.
Limited 2 600 and as manny bones as you'd think, here's the SNES 2005 dream ILF guitar you probably traded someone 4 a Sovtek Tall Font back in 2013 already (sans whyte neck.....possibly)
Limited to 3,500 units worldwide. Behold! The newest incarnation of one of our most beloved pedals ever, the Disaster Transport. For those of you well versed in the pedal’s celebrated history, you might notice some differences on this beautifully sparkly box. A new Mod Mode switch allows you to bend or stretch the modulation wave. The new Mod Speed switch offers three rates of modulation, from bizarrely animated gradual climbs and steep drop offs to rapid chorus and intense vibrato.
The delay line has been redesigned to reduce the noise floor and improve the quality of the delay. Plus, it’s now filtered to sound more like an analog delay than any of the previous versions. With knobs to control the Speed, Intensity, Mix, Repeats, and Time; this analog-voiced digital delay sits perfectly in the background with an evolved ambiance, but can also be dialed in for the dramatic effect of your choosing.
This looks intriguing. I always wanted to try their pedals.
Mac (Intel/Silicon) + Windows: €10/$10 with free trial
The XY controller allows you to blend four different reverb algorithms simultaneously, making it a great tool for creating complex soundscapes.
