Track done + sent!

In the end, I used just five sources to try not to clutter things up too much. The five I used all got run through my pedals, so hopefully that gave 'em some kind of consistency.

I still have a folder of things I liked, many already pre-chopped down to the sounds I wanted to use, so there may well be a "b-side" fro me, kinda more just collaging those in Audacity.

How are we looking overall? Who's still going to submit but hasn't?

Got yours. I'd say we pretty much have to cut it off soon no? I need to get these mastered then I have a ton of paying projects waiting for me when I get back on Sunday so I need to prioritize pretty soon (I also have ILFEU 2019 to do as well).

Yes, let's just highlight this: CUTOFF IS TOMORROW (Sept 15th)

And I think I mentioned this before, but: does anyone want to come up with some sky-themed album art? (As per bandcamp: "1400 x 1400 pixels minimum (bigger is better), .jpg, .gif or .png, 10MB max "

And with that same notion in mind, anyone is welcome to submit an image to go with their track on bandcamp.

Once the tracks are mastered, I will be handling the bandcamp end of things, so lemme know if you have any art/image notions.

Good deal. I'll be on a plane for 9 1/2 hours today so will be out of touch until around 8pm CST.

I'll get on this stuff tomorrow and finish up mastering what we have. Cheers y'all!

I'm good with whatever for artwork. I can snap a pic or something if you need 'something' to use. Only request would be if you could use 'Morning Tiger' for artist name on my track rather than Dandy13 since that is the project name I use for my internet music stuffs.

Looking forward to this :!!!:

A timely reminder — once I have all the mastered tracks in hand, I'll probably hang out with them a bit to let 'em settle into a running order, and I'll reach out to everyone via PM to confirm how you want it credited, etc. Bandcamp also has three track-level fields ("about this track", "lyrics", "track credits") so if there's anything you want to mention in any of those (gear info, thanks, links to your projects, etc. etc.) you can let me know.

I'm not saying I'm doing it but this week I could have some spare time to see if I can do something.
If I succeed I'm gonna post it here :thumb:

Link for final masters: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/6vxy3uu4fov6 ... uDr7a?dl=0

(I did MP3's for each track as well)

Y'all should give HA the exact band/artist names and exact track names in case I got that wrong before he does the Bandcamp.

Lots of good stuff here gang. Please put my track last on the album since I think it's the weakest.

Thanks for doing all the good work!

My track should be titled Morning Fog and artist should be November if that's not too much trouble (I think I'm going to start dropping the Mr part for actual projects)

Yay, cool! I will take the tracks for a walk to let them fall together next couple days. My work schedule makes it hard to tend to this over the weekend, so I imagine I'll be doing the Bandcamp uploadeing + wrangling Monday or Tuesday, so yeah, do get your infos to me by then.

Many thanks to shikawkee for his work!

My pleasure!!

My track should just be listed as Ed Pettersen. Track name: Swimming.

dang,
now I can't even bow out with a bit of grace intact anymore

my last hope was mastering taking a while cause I misunderestimated the amount of IRL
and seemingly forgot how much work it can be to get things to sound like you want in a DAW.
Or how to let go of what I want and just make something that sounds nice....
sorry, folks!

But now I can finally listen to all YOUR stuff :!!!: :thumb:

Great job Ed, thanks a lot.
Listened to 4 tracks this morning, gonna listen to the others tonight, some really cool stuff here fam.
So far I can say that my track has a lot missing "sound wise", surely because of my limited mixing knowledge, and this thing has probably negatively affected also the final result after the master, but that's a lesson for the future.

Mixing is a very specific art from my experience. I was lucky enough to study for 18 years with one of the best mastering engineers that has ever lived (110 hit singles for starters) but mixing? Heh. No way. I do the best I can but it can always be better. Don't be so hard on yourself. It never ends!!!
