Thanks homies! I really appreciate it This one was obviously difficult to approach because there are so many ways to show what it can do.
I should also mention that I'll post all of my patches on the Empress patch sharing site once it's up, and I'm planning on doing a live patching video on youtube on April 15th at 7:30pm EST. It could be pretty fun to go through and make patches with people's suggestions

Ugh you're actually making me want one of these even though I'd probably just sit and play with it and never make music again.
Hm, that might actually benefit mankind.
Empress' hidden agenda?

I think that's the hidden agenda of the whole pedal industry...

Oh man, I can't wait to see what you do with it! I can imagine your patches will be waaaay better than what I've done so far

Just put up a demo of the 6 Degrees FX Hyper Catalyst. It's an entirely point-to-point overdrive/preamp that's great for some subtle grit and eq, especially cutting some bass to tighten your tone. It was designed with pushing an amp or fuzz in mind, but I've found it works perfectly on its own too

Oh, stoked you demoed this dude. I've been drooling over the beautiful guts of these builds but good demos have been lacking. Nice work - sounds legit!

Just put up a demo of the Mr Black Shepard's End. This is a pretty underrated flanger in my opinion, and maybe my favorite for that dreamy sound. It does the barber-pole thing, and I believe did it first, but the coolest part is you can blend between infinite upwards or downwards and a standard through-zero lfo. It gives you some pretty weird sounds that don't feel like any other modulation pedals.

I now want to buy this pedal for the third time.
Prices aren’t sort of absurd one reverb though.

I was kinda surprised there were so few up on reverb. You’d think for a pedal this old that a few more people would be looking to sell

Stranger still is that I think many of them were sold when Jack ran a Black Friday deal a few years ago.

Just put up a demo of the Virus made by Jero. This thing is wild and can be pushed to saturate so much that it starts to become a weird octave fuzz. But it also does normal fuzz and fuzzy overdrive really well
