I'd pay a little bit more for a fourth knob, not this seller though:
"I hate flangers. And this one is the dumbest of any I’ve ever used. Switch works 90% of the time. Battery and power input works. Knobs work, but when I twist them I just hate it more. Take it away."

I might have to steal parts of that sales pitch for one of my designs

There is no end to the suck herein. Turn a knob, it only gets worse. There is no escape. There are no refunds.

I'm certain that these switches can either easily be replaced or opened and treated with tuner spray.

Soundtank switches SUCK, but not because they break easily - at least in my experience - but because they are slippery and the up-down action of the switch is minimal. I think the delay of that series was the first delay i ever owned.
Btw for a $22 pedal it wasn't that bad sound-wise.
Also, I've just missed a Digitech Death Metal for 20€, which is ≈ 22$, I feel bad.

I’m sorry for your loss... it’s painful when one gets away....
I just got a $19 pedal and a $3 set of strap locks, so that makes a ...
$22 faux HM-2.
It compares favorably to my vintage MIJ, maybe a little clearer.
It will live in my practice nook by my desk, as opposed to the mega board of death in the live room in the studio here.
Sometimes walking 100 yards is just too first world problem, you know.
