Ryan wrote:Haha great point about the censoring, I love those pinch harmonics! It really is one of the best shows to ever come out of Adult Swim and I really like the albums, I listen to them a lot. Have you seen them live too? One of the coolest shows I've ever been to!

Yea, I saw them with Mastodon a little over a year ago, incredible! I thought Dethklok was going to steal the show, but Mastodon came out guitars blazing! Brent Hinds actually destroyed a Silverburst Custom Flying V that was giving him trouble the whole show. Read in an article later that the destruction of that guitar caused him to have shoulder surgery for a torn rotator cuff! I know I winced when he smashed it into the wall headstock first, the V is not my style but that one was very sweet.

It's great music isn't it! Catchy and heavy and fun to play... I've gone through a lot of death metal stages through the years and I feel like this is my favourite band of the genre! (apologies to Morbid Angel and Cannibal Corpse and Slayer for liking a cartoon metal band more, but they own)

I'm excited to watch that old sketch show of Bill's too. It's gonna be like a Bill Bailey fan-weekend over here! That Dr. Who bit is awesome, nice one Pete!

I saw that tour with Mastodon too, really cool hey! When I saw them Mastodon opened.. I think I liked Dethklok more but I wasn't very familiar with Mastodon. Sounds like you got quite a show though!

It definitley is catchy, it certainly rivals alot of proper metal and with a TV show that's hillarious to go with it... i'm suprised Brendon actually isn't as popular as Dethklok yet.

So jealous of you guys seeing them live though... doubt they'll ever play England but it'd be so awesome to see them, I know they're a fictional band but they're just so awesome, I hope dethklok keeps on successfully and doesn't drop in quality or get cancelled.

Just started watching Frisky Dingo for the first 2 episodes (Actually the first wouldn't stream so 2nd & 3rd) I was like... it's okay then I heard the line "Why is Doom in quotes? Is it some kind of Ironic Doom!?" which made me keep at it

Question though... why didn't they get the guy that voices Stan the Butler to voice Murhphy after he died, there voices are so damned close! That woulda been awesome.

So Pete, have you had time now to finish Frisky Dingo? Boosh!

That's a great point about Stan, haha, good thinking! It's a great show though, hey? Killface has to be one of the funniest characters ever!

Lately we've been watching a ton of auction shows like Auction Hunters, Storage Wars, Pawn Stars, American Pickers... there's something fun about watching people find and sell treasure.

Harumph! Yes I have, it was pretty good, I did love Kill Face, but it was no match for Archer which I just watched all the way through... Do you want Ants? Cause that's how you get Ants!

Second Season Out This Month Too :joy:

Hey Pete, long time! *smile*

Yeah I'm looking forward to Archer Season 2 also... I think I like FD more though, I don't know why, just my soft spot for adult swim I guess, even though adult swim is well represented on Archer. Thinking about it.. maybe Archer is cooler since it's on FX and that's where Always Sunny airs...

You ever watch the Trailer Park Boys, Pete?

Hey Bud! It has been! :)

I gotta say Archer beat Frisky Dingo for me, so many good quotes in it, Frisky Dingo was cool still though, pretty funny in alot of places but it wasn't up to Sealab or Metalocalypse standards... I'd watch it again though for sure. I hope some new shows come out soon on Adult Swim though.

Nah I didn't! After we chatted about it before they stopped showing it on Paramount Comedy, along with Kitchen Confidential which I kinda liked so I never did.

Haha fair enough! It's one of those shows where the characters just really grow on you and become your buddies... I love Ricky and Julian and Bubbles. I met Randy and Lahey once too at a live show they did, not bragging or anything  :p

Ryan wrote:I think more Sealab coulda been good too! I think the last season of the show was really hilarious, I was surprised to see the last episode. And sad, that Murphy montage was tear-worthy.

You're right about that Morgana show, it hits and misses, but a couple of the characters are really funny. If you're hard up for something to watch it's worth it.

I've been watching that Frankie Boyles show too, forgot to mention it. I love how anti-religious he is, he really lets them have it.

The Bill Bailey show we watched was called Dandelion Mind, it's from 2010 I think. I love that guy. I love Dylan Moran too. I'll check out the other names you mentioned too!

I love The Office too, it's a show that we've watched straight through from season 1 a couple of times and it's just hilarious and I never get tired of it. The picture you linked is such a funny episode. I don't wanna give much away but Jim says something so funny to Dwight that I put it on the RRR pcb, about 300 RRRs were made with Jim's quote inside the box. Awesome episode!

dood it was hilarious  watched season 1 to 6 about 4 times now and its still funny
cant wait for season 7

Haha what a great show hey! I think there will be one more season with Steve Carell and then he's leaving the show? Or he's not even gonna be on the next season? And Ricky Gervais might be coming to the show? I find that idea pretty exciting!

I don't think it has been mentioned yet and I do think that was funny stuff!

I probably sound like a broken record but still no Leigh Hart fans? Nobody else watching Ancient Aliens? I can come over to anybody's house with some dvds...

What do you guy's think about the original Office? I saw it long before the American version and think it's FAR superior, some of the most uncomfortably awkward scenes ever filmed! It seems whatever version you see first tends to be the favorite. Extras on HBO was super funny also. Both those shows really took off on their second and final seasons.
