Then again, having this AND the Nemesis (not to mention my No Memory...)

You never know. It wasn't very long between the time he announced the Gravitas and the preorder going live. I think the only reason the Spectre took so long was because (IMO) he wasn't sure he wanted to put it into production. IIRC he just announced that he had been working on it one day on Instagram - no teasing or anything. It's the teasing that makes me thing we won't have to wait more than a month or two until we can get our hands on this bad boy. Joel's good enough at teasing that (I hope) he realizes that this is legit painful to some of us, and that having to wait 6+ months until we can get our grubby lil paws on it will be a death sentence. Or also a potential loss of sales.

He also took the Spectre to Namm to test it our among other builders way before releasing it, so there's that.
Either way my wallet is not ready.

Truth.
Still,

Just talked with JonnyAngle about having my Echorec etched next month, but if this thing turns out to be the monster it appears to be, I might have to change my plans...

I could totally handle an end of year release. I may be financially capable by then.

fun fact: the name 'Chase Bliss' actually comes from the practice of edging, a fact laid bare by the marketing department of said company.

If it's on a knob, you can modulate it

Less fun fact, but I feel like it's noteworthy. It's actually named after his brother Chase and the philosophy he had in life.

Chase Bliss Audio wrote:Come play it at NAMM booth #1276!! Introducing... Tonal Recall: Analog Delay
Price: $399. Release Date: May 30th, 2016.
Features Overview: *100% analog signal path, full digital control of parameters. No digital conversion or processing. *2 onboard save-able presets + live mode for 3 distinct settings (expandable to 122 with a midi controller). *Tap Tempo / Hold for setting delay time via tap. Holding the switch gives runaway oscillation. 6 delay subdivisions including dotted eighth note. *True bypass or buffered bypass with trails. *2 Xvive MN3005 delay chips. *SLB (short, long, both) selects between 1 MN3005 (i.e. DM2), 2 MN3005 (i.e DMM), and both for a multi-tap mixed output of the two for more of a washed out / reverby sound. *Circuit is tuned for 550ms max delay time (longer delays are possible via trimmer adjustment, but compromises tap tempo accuracy and optimal clock filtering). *Sine, triangle, and square wave modulation with independent rate and depth controls. At max depth, madness ensues. *Full midi implementation to control presets and parameters. *Expression / CV control over any parameter individually or simultaneously. *Ramping over any parameter individually or simultaneously. *Tone control for full range of clear or dark repeats. *Mix Control goes 100% dry to 100% wet. On "short" delay setting, pedal can be used as a vibrato or chorus. *Internal trimmer for max regeneration. Pedal ships with self-oscillation abilities, with the potential to get wilder.
First non modushape pedal, and crazy expensive. It's got them lovely dip switches though. I'm still excited to hear it and hopefully afford it for my birthday present to myself.
