Alright.
Firstly, I love this pedal. My only other PLL experiences have been the Mini Ark and Harmonic Decoder, this pedal tracks a million miles better than the Mini Ark for me (Mexican Strat SSS, bridge pickup tone down), and well the less said about the Harmonic Decoder the better really.
This is a totally different experience to the Mini Ark, that pedal has the analog 2 octave down and fuzz voice to mix in with the 2 synth voices, and the hold switch for the synth voices. This one has the modulator section and really extensive control over the character of the oscillators. For me, I can do every sound I liked about the Mini Ark better with this pedal, and a billion things more.
Secondly, I feel like every kind of sound that can be coaxed out of this thing with a guitar has been covered by the Knobs, UC, East Stomp Boutique and iRerror demos, with the exception of a quite Mini-Ark esque spooky pitch vibrato on a standard oscillator sound (which tbh may be in one of those demos). So I'm not rushing to make any clips of just the 4046m, which is quite a pain in ass for me.
In the process of writing i'll try record some clips of the 4046-m used in conjunction with other pedals when I stumble across things that work well.
Things to note - Digitech whammy pre-4046m works really well as far as tracking goes, but the resulting sound has slightly less harmonic content. Whammy after 4046m cuts all the hi's out completely. Avoid!
CT5, Judder and clari(not), being lo-fi delays, completely change the tone of this pedal, and not for the better really, unless you're going for that 'I drove my cassette too hard and now it's all low-mids and nothing else' sound. I like that sound but it really does this pedal a disservice.

I got mine in a couple of weeks ago and oh man is it amazing. I'll just cut right to it: I managed to record some decent clips with it mostly exploring the synth side of life. I did use some other pedals because the 4046 works extremely well with my envelope filter (surprise!!) and some delay on a Tonal Recall. Also tried a loop on the DL4 for about 30 seconds, but there's so much frequency spectrum covered at one time that it got messy fast.

Second impression?
This is still probably the piece of gear I've been most excited about getting my hands on.

This pedal, for me, has gone from WTF, to WTF!!, to OMG IT DOES THAT SOUND TOO? to 'this is completely essential to my setup now and i don't ever foresee getting rid.'

Picked up one today (for a sick price too) and good lord it's gorgeous. I can't wait until I get back to my full rig and can run it in parallel with clean, using it to create tuned staticky Godspeed sounds. Are folks putting it towards the ends of their chains? I don't have my other pedals on me, but it's kinda intimidating tryna work out sounds with any other peds behind it

Finally had my first sit down with mine, and I'm still definitely in WTF! mode. Have played through both sides and synth only - still need to experiment with mod only, and things in the loop, and and and.

Chain last night: SG/HH > 4096-M > Boss OC-2 > Monoprice Flanger > RM-1N > Scrutator > Gristleizer clone > Goatkeeper > Meatball > Laney AOR > Trace Elliot bass cabs
Dunno, but I have a feeling that pairing the 4046 w/ a compressor might be worthwhile experiment - even though I'm not a compressor guy - which may either remove some of the staticy splat or make it more controllable. Either of those could be good or bad depending on ones tastes.
Like all of Andrew's designs i'm instantly impressed and at the same time left scratching my head at the possibilities. Am going to have to dig deep with this one.

Ugh!
I was on the original list of 10.
Any update on this?
I know I've got to be patient, but I've got the money now, and it's burning a hole in my pocket!
The descriptions in this thread certainly don't make the wait any easier!

Send Andrew a PM and/or email, that's prob the best step. But it looks like he's finally working through the pre-order list.

Second impression is that mine went wonky (and we double checked, not the good kind of wonky) so I'm in the process of sending it back to Andrew -- who has been totally fucking awesome through this whole thing, as you'd expect.
That said, "What the fuck" still applies, just in various
?,
!, and
?! variations. There is a ton of interconnectivity between the various knobs, as you'd expect, and a lot of ins and outs that I am very excited to re-explore once I have one at my fingertips again.

oh yeah, meant to say in this thread, there are some 9v supplies that cause my 4046-m to emit a high pitched squeal, sometimes it starts low level and gradually creeps up until it stops functioning and all you can hear is squeal, other supplies cause it to just do that immediately. They're decent supplies that have come with other pedlols, Harman for the Whammy V (500mA) , EHX for Holy Grail (400 mA I think) etc. Doesn't happen with my power bricks or a couple of the other wall warts I have.

I did not experience those things with a One Spot or my Voodoo, for the record.
