Hey Chank, would you consider this Starfire to be worth <more> <samesame> <less> bc siggies by Gatemouth and RLJR on the back?

(actually seems to be a pretty decent price

)

also, how 'bout *dis* RLJR siggie?

also, when did everybody start referring to Robert Junior Lockwood as Robert Lockwood, Jr.?

Yeah, I've been playin' & likin' chunky picks lately.

That's how he wanted to be known.

He wasn't merely a "Jr." to Robert Johnson.
I wouldn't pay more for a guitar with signatures on it. (Even if I love those guys.) Especially not one in "Fair" condition.

I learned something. This is why we ask Chank.
Also, I usually think sellers on Reverb are upgradin' their warez, but I think that one could reasonably be termed "Good" and it seems to be priced lower than some other similarly situated Starfire IIIs I have seen.

(the other one for the same price had it's headstock snapped off

)

Great! Yeah I have only got into them fairly recently but I like what they're doing for my playing.

Are really any signature guitars that aren't by Les Paul even worth bothering with and does that even count where the Les Paul is known more than Les Paul..?

I generally don't like signatures on guitars. can't think of one I'd actually want.

Hey Chank, what gauge strings do you think Carmen is using here?

Looks like fence gauge. Or "we drew these strings on because they didn't come out in the photo" gauge.

I think those're .050 across the board
Incidentally, I think he's in a precursor to Lou Reed's Ostrich tuning.
