You can definitely try your Cosmichorus at 12VDC, the MN3007 does appreciate a higher voltage. Sometimes the problem with using a 12VDC adapter or output on a power supply is that it's a non-regulated 12VDC which can actually make for a lot of background noise/hiss. Give it a try though, you won't hurt it!

You know I've never thought to try this. My malekko vibrato has a mn3007 and sounds amazing at 12v. Just a matter of flipping a switch for you pp2 users.

It's definitely a good experiment to try! I don't use any components rated for less than 25V so you can even try 18VDC if you have an adapter that'll do it.

Using the PP2 is great but that's a situation where you're using a non-regulated 12VDC so in some situations or with some pedals it could be noisier than the regulated 9VDC... just something to be aware of in case it doesn't sound as great as you'd hoped. I have a PP2+ and I've never tried the 12V setting with our pedals so the next Cosmichorus I made I'll give that a shot and report back!

I've tried with both Cosmichorus and SDD and it works fine. Of course I had to try 18v after reading this
But I didn't hear any change in the sound I think (but I may be wrong )

All my pedals are safe to run at higher voltages, 18VDC included, but that's not to say they'll sound better at a higher voltage. They're still biased and set up around 9VDC, plus it depends again on the quality of the power they receive.. an unregulated 12VDC could sound a lot worse than a regulated 9VDC.

The difference in sound quality might only apply to headroom/clipping also, you might not hear any difference in the sound unless you're reaching the limits of the pedal. Say with the Cosmichorus, the main guitar I play can't clip the chorus chip at all no matter how hard I play. (It's a G&L ASAT) But my Tele with EMGs can very easily make the chorus signal clip ... so with that guitar the 12VDC could make a difference in providing a few volts more head room for the signal to swing.

Totally a trial and error kinda thing, could sound better or worse or indifferent, but you won't hurt any of the caps or active components.

excited to try this with my rrr, end of chain pedals can always use more headroom!

I made a mistake there, Kev! The miniberators have a 100uF cap rated for 16V so stick to 12VDC for your experimentation there.

The CC arrived today! It may be be a couple of days before I can try it out but I've heard enough clips to know that they're awesome. Man, it feels solid and is smaller than I thought, and this is a GREAT thing. Pictures don't do this justice, and I'm not sure why, but in-person it glows. I'll post a couple anyway.
