Don't worry, Dalton, I've been taking names.

How about this: You don't ship pedals - you ship yourself. Box yourself up, mail yourself to people who want to demo. We feed and house you while you build.

That sounds awesome! Funny, Inga and I talked about getting an RV, filling it with pedals, and doing an East Coast traveling ILF meet-up tour...

I think there's plenty of places to camp not too far from you.
We should have a ILF Jamboree next summer.
What size pipe would it take to build a Pipe Amp of Doom™?

Pointing a pipe amp straight down at a sprung wood floor is pretty awesome (ie standing it on its end). You filter some of the crazy high frequency content of the little speaker, making it sound bigger, and you get the resonance from the floor.
My neighbours have not objected yet, but I haven't dared to try it all that often.

I used to do something similar.
When I would go home to visit my parents and not have an amp around, I'd put the headstock of my bass up against a hollow door and use it to amplify (slightly) the sound of the bass. It was fun. Oh, the joys of being young and ampless.

Best pipe amp for doom?
3 pipe amps at once thanks to our old pal Aen's triple threat!

You could absolutely park at our place for a while. Northampton's about equidistant from Boston and NYC and conveniently located off a major highway. By next summer we might even have a fun outdoor playspace/performance space and a guest room.

Nothing like MLC and a surround-sound Pipe Amp setup to make this thread fun again.
I really want to sit in the middle of three Pipe Amps!

There's a campground ONE MILE from FuzzHugger HQ...spots for tents, RVs, as well as rentable cabins and yurts.
I actually had a 6" speaker here that was gonna go in a big ol' pipe and bring the brootz, but I never did it, as the Pipe Amp isn't currently the hot commodity it should be. Doesn't everyone need an super-tough backpack amp / bathroom amp / tour van amp / campsite amp? One that fuzzes, no less!!!

Haha, nice!
There's also the foot-on-the-grille trick for some tremolo effect.
And if you've got wireless gear, put the Pipe Amp on a record player turntable for rotating speaker effect!

I might head out to the hardware store and see if I can attach a larger bore plastic pipe to it and see what it does to the sound.

Maybe if the pipe amp had a super simple 4x12 emulator in it to roll off some highs then it might be more useful to a greater market? I dunno. I think it's super cool and useful, and a great effect in itself.
Also Tom I want to throw money at you for some awesomeness in a box.
Just so you know.

It's amazing the effect that the pipe enclosure has. The speaker sounds tiny without it...the pipe itself adds a lot of thump and bass, but also the 1" flare (of the pipe) that surrounds the speaker about doubles the perceived volume / projection of the speaker.
Highs could be rolled off with a simple cap inside. Or guitar Tone knob.
Are you waiting on a reply? ILF PMs get lost. Emails don't usually, but I'm a few weeks backed up with emails. Not for lack of trying!

Tone knob? What's that?
All my guitars are on full bore, all the time!
To be clear - the pipe amp in itself sounds awesome (and is fucking loud!) and I don't think it needs to or should be changed. But when stacking fuzz into it you notice that it doesn't have the roll off that a larger speaker does, so it sounds a bit too hifi to my ears. Easy solution - I just don't stack anything with it. Just fuzz out

. But making it sound more like a normal guitar speaker when stacking might mAje it more versatile. But I dunno. I'm just grasping at straws as to why it doesn't sell like hot cakes.
Pretty sure I emailed you but I might have dreamt it. Will email
