Confession time.
I would rather listen to nine minutes of the same chord being repeated as Kim drawls and trails off as much as she wants while reciting the Gettysburg Address poetry slam-style than listen to Dinosaur Jr. vocals.

Dinosaur Jr has been a big part of my life since Bug. Really surprised by how solid the latest records have been. That's a pretty big accomplishment for a group that's ebbed and flowed, as they have.
I've seen them a bunch of times over the years... And much as I like them, I have to say...
They really don't do a thing for me, live. And it's mostly J...
I find his incessant-noodling gets boring quick and verges on borderline un-musical, most of the time. By the third song, I'm usually done.... and if I don't hear another Mascis solo for a few months, I'm good.
