aside from fripp, was the buzzaround a key ingredient to a genre or player at the time?
I'm not a who played what kinda guy but me and my SS were talkin about the Buzzaround and how it became so popular recently... I have a Death Dealer from Arcane Analog that is "bass tuned" which Rulezzz my shit... The only thing I would like is a master vol. cause it can get cray... AA makes a version with vol. and I hope I can get one this year...

You have different versions of the Buzzaround so maybe a comparison of the versions would be cool...

I've got an original Burns Buzzaround, early edition with tag board. Otherwise I've got the Pigdog now, and a JMI Buzzaround repro on the way. I didn't realize that my burns was so valuable so I'm taking it from the studio and keeping it to use at home, i've had that thing from the early 90s. It WAS one of the pedals we'd rent out to customers to use in the studio. The Pigdog gets some really nice tones but its a much higher gain pedal it seems, or could have something to do with how old my original is. The burns is still at the studio so no a/b yet.

Here we've got the ss/bs fuck od into the Lotus Orange into the 1448 amp in case/guitar combo...and i get a phone call. And i'm pretty sure I didn't remember to take that into consideration and change some setting on the phone. so anyways i made another too, its a bit different from the first. the lotus orange is an awesome boost/fuzz by the way. I was only about half way up the volume, louder you go the more fuzz you get, i don't know? maybe they're wizards.
