You just summed up HCFX in one sentence, the reason for this is it's populated mainly by these dozen or so guys they call the Chat Crue. They start troll threads, and like 8-10 copycat threads for any thread they see posted by someone who is new or asks an obscure question. It's annoying as anything and the moderator sides with them on almost everything because they have over 90% of the posts in the entire forum, the Doom Room was the only thread they didn't mess with.

At least people post on HCFX. Guitars and Amps are boring, and the rest of the place is dead

I get your point though. The board got super buttgrabby for quite a while there with inside jokes and whatnot. I mean say what you will about us, haunting mids, and the diy thread folks - we all mostly kept to ourselves and didn't stir up shit when we would wander outside of our threads.

Yes it did, and then it crashed hard so my appeal of the board declined and i started nesting over here. the DR and DIY threads were great, and your right we kept to ourselves and didnt bother anybody, but haunting mids was the epicenter of all that I disliked, haunting mids / chat crue are the same thing pretty much or eventually merged into one. To the point that Phil was handing out ban hammers for even bringing up HM. Twas pretty funny.
