I really want to try a Tracer City. I don't give a hamster's scrotum if it has scribble artwork.

If possessing a deep appreciation for aesthetics means that one is experiencing something more intensely than others, then such an appreciation should be seen an enhancement of depth, not a deficiency.

I generally think of snazzy as less chaotic and much more solid but still relatively arcane. I think the new distortion sounds great and the divine hammer is cool but has a bit of a dive in curve. I had the mini ark, but I didnt like it for a few reasons (just not that into synth guitars sounds any more I guess) and I'd kinda rather just use the trusty Octasynth. I'm interested in the field trip...but I dunno, just hasn't grabbed me enough to not buy something else (or anything).
He posted pics of a new modular pedal too.
You get a pass for being tired. I was mostly talking about our jabbering aesthetes.
I think the Field Trip sounds pretty good. I still wanna Divine Hammer though too. So, it'll probably be even longer until I get a Field Trip.
Octasynth is great because it's bone(r) simple. Sounds great too.
Interested in hearing (and look at) the modular pedal.

I'm not trying to say there is anything wrong with that. There isn't. I just don't think it makes sense to discount an item based on the way it looks. I wouldn't have tried half the shit I've tried if I did that and I've had my fair (ok more than my fair share LOL) of pedals over the years.
My board consists of all stock graphic pedals now with 4 exceptions that I etched. I don't know why I don't care anymore? I like stock graphics now. It's weird. I used to think so differently and it wasn't that long ago.

I don't think anyone here has said that they would either...
I think a lot of things I've bought looks whack. I would just prefer that those things looked different. It's not a deal breaker (within reason), but I did love the old Snazzy design and this just feels (to me (OPINIONS!)) uninspired and lazy.

Well it is probably uninspired and lazy but so is your mom.

Just to let you guys know , I'm not making these to be lazy . I'm making them because 1. I don't have the means right now to get a run done for each and every box WITH silkscreens . people had been asking me for so long to start making X again that I thought that on the whole most people would be happy to have the sound they were after
Honestly these take a lot more of my blood and sweat than handing them off to a metal /art house . you can also REQUEST colors or give me stylistic requests (minimal , red with white , etc )
Keep in mind , the DIVINE HAMMER is available with powdercoat and silkscreen , though honestly many people did like their hand painted boxes a lot . all I can do is my best
I'm not a silkscreener and doing large runs of metal with silk is very expensive , especially when you don't know how many will sell (the divine hammer Is still available at analogue haven by the way)
ALSO..,the green wire Is intentional as is the crazy wiring on the NEIGHBORHOOD..,it's a noise , fuzz , osc , pedal and the coiled green wire and ultra messy wiring helps pick up all the more noise !!
if anyone EVER has any questions please hit me up via the contact form on my site
Your support is highly appreciated
Honestly lately I've been designing so many NEW pedals that I'm enjoying the one on one contact with people who buy them direct
It's hard for me to keep telling people WAIT ANOTHER YEAR AND I MIGHT HAVE PAINT FIGURED OUT on the traced city !!
I'd rather just do MY BEST and get them to people who have wanted them !
Eventually the tracer and mini will get the HAND-Made treatment with good PCBS , full testing and breaking in , clearCoat , etc
Believe me I'm really not trying to be lazy ! These pedals are super hard work and I really make sure they sound great as I'm doing ever single step of the process myself

Hey, Dan, thanks for chimin' in again.
Please forgive the guys, they're just holding you up to "exacting ILF standards". (You also set yourself up with those outstanding looking initial releases.)
We

Snazzy.
(I figured that's what the green wire was for.) Noise is good.

We like noise.

Hey Dan if you read this thread again, whats the status on the Eternal Spring VCF?

Heck yea, Snazzy is tops in my book.
My miniark thing was just a personal synth guitar thing. I was the most perfect pedal of that style I've played (and for the record I haven't touched my octasynth is my wife's pedal).
Keep up the good work. It's all great and if I didn't have impending adulthood coming I would have picked up all three of the current ones haha. Still on the fence about flipping stuff for your current builds. I've created some of my best stuff with the divine hammer (it really grew on me). Snazzy FX is one of the few builders I truly follow.
I actually think some of the more recent finishes look cool. I liked resin's tree divine hammer too.

If I ordered one, can you do a Donald Trump penis man on it? That's all I ask.

I have drooled over the mini ark, tracer city and just about every oversized knob laden pedal that snazzyfx has put out for some time now. I love the screen printed enclosures , but can totally understand the cost of investing and having left over stock especially when the price point can be daunting to some (I'm at the top of that list). Have you ever thought of partnering up with some of the fine etchers on ILF and working out a design/production on an as needed basis? Seems like the hand painted enclosures take up as much (if not more) of your time.
