I really love the oversize body of a 335, as far as semi-hollow goes.
Its bigger just not....thick. I mean theyre all hollow bodies Ive played one chessie, two standards and an acrylic v (yes, the one youre thinking of) and aside from the acrylic one, they all pretty much sound alike...the chessie didnt really have any more hollowbody characteristics than any of the others. I think its really just for look.

Yes it is! It's my first guitar to incorporate this. It's insane with oscillating fuzzes. You can dial in all sorts of usable skronks and skreeks with precise adjustment of that blend knob!
It's also a lot quicker that you'd think when switching between pickups in a more conventional sense. It's not quite as jarring when playing ambient as well. You can just casually
drift between tones.
WHAT A GOOD FUCKING IDEA.
WHY DO GUITAR COMPANIES NOT DO THIS MORE?

I'm so used to my '80 les Paul neck.
I'm getting a 60's neck, whatever that means. But I'm a fan of both Strat and LP 60's sized necks, but I'll play on anything after enough time.
Supposedly mine is being Anodized this week. I wanst its

Heh, I just made it sound fancier than it actually is. It's only a less offset double cut.
And don't insult me.
