i was talking to my friend the other day on the phone and half the time she was complaining she didnt wanna go to work in the london snow

The snow has been beyond ridiculous recently... everything is fucked, EVERYTHING and it's snowing again right now! Normally i'd be like awesome! Snow. Where I am now i'm like... Shit it's cold and I can't leave the house and I had plans to see friends, which is ususally when I crack open another beer and go... Yeahhh (Most people stock up on food and water in these situations, i'm going through my stash of Christmas Booze) .

But I do have more TV, Bed and Tea... And last night I was watching the most Christmasy movie ever... Fuckin' Die Hard.

u know the snow has a strangle hold on your life when u had to watch die hard

Try to talk him down. $400 seems like a pretty standard price.

I've got one from..uhh...the mid to late 70s? whatever. Moral of the story is it was $240.

I'll try, but it's on consingment in his store from one of his friend's wife, who died - the friend died - so I dunno, there is also this amp from the 60's called the Supernova he has for $275 it's a 2x12 combo with reverb and tremelo, with a really huge ft. switch it also has four inputs like a JC-120 so it's either a cheaper cool vintage amp or a more expensive amp with tons of indie cred and stuff - confession time - I want both, and a Peavey 2x15 that's at Fat Tones for $225.

When I was going to hang my guitar body back up again I noticed that the hook I'm using was loose, the hole had stripped.

I'M SO GRATEFUL THAT I DIDNT HAVE TO CRY OVER THE BODY HITTING THE FLOOR FROM 6 FEET UP
THANK YOU SANTA

My gf and I will have been together 3 months on the 30th, I know for a fact I'm getting a much less shitty amp for christmas, and I just got Aen's new CD along with a Megadeth live DVD and a Black Sabbath live DVD. Life is good :joy:

OH MA GAAAWD i'm so happy right now :) this is my train of thoughts:

we had a very cool post-rockish jam session/normal band rehearsal :) with candles glowing around us it was the best atmosphere ever :)

i stood on a different spot today and not only that i heard myself a lot better, but i noticed how perfect is my sound right now :) i'm so happy with it!

and i also realized that i finally use my fuzzes and Dirty Little Secret and amp dirt in a perfect conjunction :) i use really a lot of combinations and each of them is just so good :) Clean sound... then with engaged DLS for those snappy neck singlecoil stuff... then my amps dirt for beefier riffs, powerchorded... then my amp's dirt with The Great Destroyer for superheavy, super beefy, most low-end-strong moments (really... TGD has A TONS of loow end!) then DLS+Amp or DLS+Fuzz Factory for solos... and finally TGD+DLS+Amp for controlled feedback that is so delicious... i just wanted to say I AM HAPPY WITH MA TONEZES!!!! :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay:

i can't believe i actually thought TGD wasn'r doing it for me...

and now i'm buying a crybaby 95Q from B/S/T to upgrade from regular CB 95... and i'll probably finally buy a Holy Grail reverb soon!!!

this evening was full of tone, good jams, good songs, friendship and happiness!!!

(i'm also a bit high... that helped me FEEL THE MUSIC AND DANCE WHILST PLAYING YAY)

(if there's anyone happy with their tone here, they'll get this outburst of happiness)

I've got several things to be excited for next month! Most notably, playing a house show with Sleep Bellum Sonno, Perfect Future, and my two favorite local bands, who I am very good friends with. That will undoubtedly be amazing.

Also, tomorrow I'm asking out the girl I have a pathetic crush on for a date? THINGS COULD BEGIN TO BE AWESOME.
