Different strains .. just means different types of the plant.
to borrow from wiki :

"Cannabis strains are either pure or hybrid varieties of Cannabis, typically of sativa and indica."

and all the names like Kush, Northern Lights etc. are just names given to the new hybrids.

and the CBD ( Cannabidiol ) is Cannabis that has less THC ( the stuff that makes you high )
and focuses more on the medicinal qualities within the plant.

i've actually never tried edibles.
and. i think some of the "marketing" where they cram weed into everything is unappealing.

i'm getting more in the concentrates though!

Concentrates are the best and save you fuck tons of money too, way more efficient than flower. I make edibles occasionally but it's very crude, usually made way too strong and taste gross enough to make you vomit (I despise the taste of edibles that I make). It can get you high for almost 24 hours though. I honestly will never find edibles worth the trouble unless they are the only option.

i was a bit hesitant to jump into concentrates.
but. my friend went to the Kustom Kulture warehouse here .. and got me a Quartz nail, Mini torch, dab tools ..
so. now i'm all setup!
i still have a vape pen. but, it's not really that great. it doesn't give proper hauls.
using the same Bubbler for flowers/ concentrates with swappable bowls is much Better.

Yeah I fell out of love with my vape pen kinda fast, I had a really cheap one. I use Da Buddha table-top vape with a titanium nail. Just twist a knob, wait a minute for it to heat up, and I can dab all day with no torch, nail, or risk of someone burning themselves.

Smoking isn't really fun for me anymore. I don't really understand why but it just makes me panic and really anxious. maybe it will be different if I spend some time away

Could be a bad strain, an underlying mental health problem or maybe you just got over it. I've seen that happen where people just don't enjoy it anymore. Take a break for at least a week or two and try again.

I think it has a lot to do with my stomach problems, since I smoke often, I'll often throw up or have a really bad stomach ache while i'm high and I think I associate that discomfort with smoking even though it's probably not causal.

I also have anxiety issues which are also related to my stomach problems

Oh that makes perfect sense. I have kind of the same thing with shrooms and edibles. I've puked on booth and now I'm avoiding edibles but getting better with shrooms.

If you don't puke on shrooms then you aren't taking enough. I don't think I've ever had shrooms and not thrown up. But I'm a bit of a drug pig and always over do it. I think the body just rejects what it cant process. Good times.

Puking on shrooms was really cool actually, I didn't mind. I took 4 grams my first time and puked, second time like 2-3 and I'm fine. Going to do some acid this weekend now that I'm feeling better, I'm very excited because it'll actually be above freezing here so I can go walk around in the snow.

The different strains when making edibles basically means how much THC there is. Making brownies The ones I've made have turned out great, they even taste like real brownies! I've heard alot of stories about bad brownie experiences like Wes said. You can't make edibles by just putting weed into the brownie mix, that is your first step towards failure.

Honestly you can make brownies with 3 grams of OG Kush, 2 cups of canola oil, and a box of brownie mix from the store. That makes 12 brownies of, described to me as, the perfect pot brownies. The dosage, how you cut them, is really important.

Appreciating the 2:25am kitchen.

Got way too baked last night and watched The Interview with a friend. That movie... was a masterpiece of terrible. Beautifully shot, wonderfully acted and lovingly constructed, it is a totally unswerving film and the sort that could only be made when you had enough clout and money to do whatever the fuck you want. It was really fucking stupid. Amazing, but stupid. I'm honestly not sure if I even enjoyed it.
