My eyes are red and hurting. I'm sleepless, and when I wake up, I feel even more tired. I'm in desperate need of a vacation but it seems like these are gonna have to wait for June, once I'm done with finals.
I haven't had a single real day off since October. Fuck being a student.
Not to be a dick, but I would take being a student again over this work week -- and I love my job.

I haven't had a vacation in years now, I could really use one

(although my Dad would say my college was a vacation

)
I do miss being a student though. Made my schedules so I had one or two classes a day late afternoon, so I could spend the rest of my time doing drugs, I miss those days.

GUYS LET ME VENT OK, YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO BE ALL LIKE "AWWWW" "THAT SUCKS" "YOU POOR THING". Don't tell me I'm an ungrateful bitch, there's... The rest of the world for that, ok?
Should have mentioned law student. I average at 45 hours a week. I don't choose my hours, and that includes going to the damn place Monday to Friday, for about 9 and leaving twice a week past 8PM.
Bear in mind this is Stalinist France FFS. If I was employed and doing these hours, my employer could be prosecuted. It's illegal to have someone work more than 44 hours a week. Same for more than 12 hours a day, which is what I do on Wednesdays. YA KNOW? I'M A SISSY WITH UNIVERSAL HEALTH CARE AND SOCIAL PROTECTION AND UNIONS AND EQUALITY AND A LEGAL MINIMUM OF 5 WEEKS PAID VACATION AND...

45 hrs a week of uni classes is fucked. At that point it'd be near impossible to have a regular part time job going at the same time, surely that would make it way too hard on people that need to support themselves while studying..
I'm on the other end of the spectrum, I dropped my degree altogether because it wasn't intensive enough, last year i was a 'full time student' and had less than 10 contact hours per week, but with regular cancellations so it was more like 6 hours.. it felt like I wasn't even a student, pathetic waste of money, tutors were a fucking joke, kind of killed any desire to go back to studying but i probably have to eventually, just don't know what... ugh

One of the perks of working the way I do -- one of my old bosses actually did this job from France (and later Spain), so really, the only thing stopping me is the thought of getting rid of my stuff.
Guess I'm just a consumer whore.

I have been sitting here wondering why my stomach was in so much pain, and finally realized I haven't eaten today.

Gotta set up a home base, wife, kids, house. Then go on long trips, months at a time, wherever, because 'you have to for work.' Then come back, enjoy your stuff, enjoy your wife, take off again. That'd be the life.

Been sick all week, it's very very annoying. Every day I start to feel alright then the next morning it's back to being sick again. Can it not just end? I've barely eaten for 4 days and I hate it.

I'm so annoyed, I think USPS might have lost my polytope in the mail. Customer service has been super fucking unhelpful too. Any of you guys ever get something lost in the mail? what did you do?

You have to go to the last P.O. it was at and stand there all day while they look... Ask for a MGR and throw a fit... It's happened to me before and sometimes it's at the P.O. and sometimes it shows up the next day all smashed and looking like it circled the Globe twice...
