Good luck! I was always too much of a wuss to use premade samples on the RC-20, unless it was just a straight vocal sample for an intro or outro.

Was playing with this. Mini is acting as a preamp sort of thing, Dirge Rat is the basic level of fun and the ECT is to blow everything up.

i am such a pedal junkie / massive rig abuser, but i love it when i see relatively minimal boards on here that i love.

i was oddly relieved during practice last night with a band i'm starting with a couple friends, chick singing & playing rhythm isn't (yet) into my making a bunch of weird noises, which i was turned off by a bit at first, but then i realized i could use a simple yet nice little rig when playing with her and keep my mess of weirdness for the other project drummer & i are working on. to have both would be teets.

Yeah the more I move forward, as much as I love my large (and ever growing larger) board for my band, I'm finding that for my solo stuff, down the line I'm gonna just end up putting together a compact board. Probably five pedals, tops.

I'm running a little over 10 pedals right now, and honestly I love having all of them and don't have the urge to get less pedals

I just build chains based on what I want to accomplish and don't worry about how large or small it ends up

I tend to agree, but in the case of the solo work I'm starting to put together, it's pretty minimalist. I don't NEED more because the whole point is there being less. Or something like that.
