Thanks! I'm still putting it together but the idea would be for my main board to hit the EP boost (as a “sparkly” buffer) then into the ABY with A going R in/out (Jamman) -> R in/out (Boomerang) -> 60’s Fender Reverb Tank -> Dr. Z Maz 38 2x10 and B going into the mixer which will go R out -> Boss RC -> M9 -> L in/out (Jamman) -> L in/out (Boomerang) -> SF Super Reverbosbornkt wrote:Nice first post, npfrs

The other mixer channels will be used for either a mic and banjo or laptop. I’m still working on using the stereo pan feature of the mixer to be able to send some things to the guitar amp when needed and some to a PA - it could be a very versatile rig, it seems!

thats a nice set up...is that a Fredrick Effect buffer at the beginning of the chain? how do you like it? i've been thinking about adding that to my board.toonhollow wrote:A few changes.

That is the Frederick Effect Klon Buffer! I have one on my board too. (it's on the last page, mine is just damn near impossible to see where i put it.
I love mine, and honestly wish i hadn;t waited so long to get one. I ran with a really long board for a long time without a buffer, and honestly the difference in sound for me was night and day. I hadn;t realized how much of my highs and high-mids were just nonexistent anymore. It made it sound like i plugged straight into the head. I can't imagine not having it on my board, and for the price, it was totally worth it.
