I've never been high, unless you count nitro at the dentist. Pot always scared me for two reasons: was a major asthmatic growing up (much better now), and fear of getting in trouble. I was always the good kid. Which was interesting when I had dreadlocks...no one believed me when I told them I didn't smoke.

It's scare tactics and withholding information and playing up various aspects of other information. Cigarette smoke contains like 100 times more of the chemical that is believed to cause popcorn lung and nobody has ever gotten it from smoking cigarettes. Also, a lot of the juice they use for these tests tends to be bottom of the barrel Chinese juices and then they crank up the power to such a strong degree to purposely get the results they do. Nobody in their right mind would use vapes in the way they are used in these "studies".

There are tons of weeds, active oils, etc... To over simplify there really three kinds of weed:
Indica: relaxing, sleepy, restful, warm, this is stuff that causes "couch lock"
Sativa: euphoric, energizing, clear headed, creative. You can smoke a lot of this and go running, or play guitar. This stuff is amazing. Not hazy.
High-CBD: most weed is grown for THC, but CBD weed may not even get you high, but it's great for the body. Pain relief. Good stuff here is like taking a warm bath. We don't want to confuse vaporizers. There's the kind that smokers use to replace cigarettes. I think if you crank up the temperatures super high, these are potentially really harmful. I think of tweakers might be the only people who would actually do that. There's similar devices for concentrates based on pot. Lately, the image I posted is really just a little heater oven that doesn't burn the flowers, just heats up ground flowers to vaporize temperature. Let's you taste the different oils, and not hack up a lung, annoy your throat, etc.

I need to get my hands on some high-CBD low-THC weed. Unlikely in ND. Regular danks get me too noided out. I don't think I could even perform sexually when stoned. I like smoking though. I like the smoking itself, the ritual is fun to me. I just get too wrecked these days, which is a huge bummer because I used to love getting blazed.

Well maybe it's not that bad, I bike everywhere and have really nice gear these days. A lot of that money and motivation would have went into weed if I still was a heavy stoner.

i mean, i smoked a bunch of different stuff as a kicken. just never really dug it. and i'm happy how i am now, feel at balance. so very cool that there are OPTIONS, i'm good.

might try to find some Sativa if me and The GrrL get high together.

Only had sex on shrooms once, it was nice, but not like sex, really. I mean, the girl was a cowboy and I was... Well, whatever, I'll spare you the details.

But stoned sex is awesome! That and listening to music stoned are the two things I kinda miss after my psyche started disagreeing with weed. I'm kind of back to the point where it's nice to get stoned again, so maybe it's time to do the tokey-pokey again one of these days!

Also, just because I've never been high doesn't mean I'm against it or those who do. I honestly think there's a lot more good to be had from all the various forms of cannabis and hemp than bad, medically, economically, and recreationally.

A grow facility just opened localy, and had to fight to do so. But, being a photojournalist, I toured the place, and the guys running it are not "stoners" in the typical derogatory sense.
