try to capture the feel of the pds 8000 i'm guessing? maybe throw in a downsampler to each loop so it's distinct?

aye, pds8000 with some timefactor looper mixed in, such as being able to define the loop start and loop end positions in realtime. plus a bit of step-sampler/granular stuff thrown in. plus an LCD screen. it's gonna take me a long time though. it's hugely complex. I doubt it'll be done this year, though I'll probably build a simpler one first. I'm having to learn a new developpment platform with more horsepower than the microcontrollers I use in the hollow earth, vibrato, bitcrushers...

if you make more than one i will buy it, though i'll probably have to sell some gear or some organs or something

i also assume that new pedalboard means new live shows?

That's awesome, man. I can't wait till my daughter starts to speak.

You say that now!

Mine don't ever seem to stop! Well at least my 3yo. My 1yo just makes lots of noise. But it really is awesome to see how much they change daily.

The boards here are rather intimidating

Well, I'll be soon to finally post a picture!
I'm just having a bit of trouble stitching it all together.

The setup will be...

Guitar -> EHX RingThing -> EHX Russian Muff -> EHX HolyStain -> Line 6 vetta
Send -> DOD DFX9 -> Boss DD6 w/ y cable'd outputs ->Boss RC20xl -> Return

A expression pedal for the RT, a boss FS5-U and a behringer channel switching pedal (the last two for the RC20xl) are off of the board around my Vetta's longboard.

I plan on selling the Russian muff and getting a EHX Riddle, my Vetta Covers everything else.

7months: Lots of weird noises and first fun banging on the toy piano my wife bought for her. Also a promising fascination for her dad's guitar. Hell yeah!

Nothing like cheese and dad talk.

HC exile here.

Even this is outdated, I swap the fuzzes a lot, now it's an Earthbound Audio Beast and a Montgomery Appliances Badlands.

How's the Boss Space Echo? I kind of want to get over my fear of Boss Buffers and give one a go.

One of my favorite delays, but I'm not going to bull shit. The buffer is terrible. And not because it's a Boss buffer, but because it takes after the old units and you can't turn the preamp OFF. When bypassed it adds their weird noise on the top end , makes the overall signal mushy and there's a bit of clock noise, the clock noise I've heard is fixed in later models.

All of that said, I still love the way it sounds, so I eventually got a true bypass loop for it and stuck it in there. So factor in another $40 or so for a true bypass loop if you're going to pick one up.

Awesome, thanks for the advice. I figured once I get a true bypass loop (or another devi ever spectacular pedal) I'd start trying out some boss pedals and the like.

How do the Big Muff and OK sounds together? I've always been curious about the OK.

As it's set up right now (Muff into OK), you get all the sustain out of the Muff, but with little pops and stutters throughout from the OK, depending on where you set the control on the OK. Honestly, it's a LOT of fun.

Both flangers, the Reverberator, and Hoof all arrived today. You can also just barely make out in this shot the new rotary switch on the Rocket that switches between SM/VFM/GZ/ZG on the left circuit and a toggle for left circuit chaos next to it.
