I run a dual rig.
Verellen Loucks--> hex cabs Giant Killer It's very mid rangey and bitey (run a BAT BF->badascan into this head)
Red Bear MKE120--> Emperor 4x12. It's more low-mids/bassy. (Run an elements->Fuzzrociou Rat King into this head)
I recently got a 2x15. Haven;t had a chance to put it through its paces yet which is a shame.

running a triple atm "triphonic" I call it. . .
run the sunn 200s into 8 12s bass at 6ish treble at 3ish this usually gets the bluebeard
redbear is into 3 15s is. . . mids 9ish (i

them) bass @ 8ish treble off and using the presence knob as the treble. this gets rat'd
ampeg is every knob at zero except bass its @ 7 running the folded horn from hell. running clean as a whistle.

Gah I thought I was finally in the home stretch, I want a new guitar so I can have it at C because it doesn't sound quite doomy at E. Anyone reccomend a cheap 600 dollar-ish guitar with a great dark sound with awesome sustain? Was looking at these gibson sonex from the 80's although the look doesn't seem appealing if it gets the job done I'm cool with it.
Ive read that those new hagstroms are really dark the super swede maybe? with the dual toggle switches can get silly dark.
lemme try to dig up a link. . .

I don't run a stereo setup I run a master / slave setup. Annunaki > VB-2. I run the Naki as normal (Fac all the way up, Bass 7.5, Mid Shift around 6, Treble 7, PI boost dimed, pres + res dimed) and then take the slave out into the VB-2's FX return with a simple volume box inbetween to even out the volumes. Even though they technically have the same EQ and preamp tones they sound very different, the naki is very bass and low-mid heavy thanks to the KT-88's and the VB-2 is more mids and treble thanks to the EL34's.

I run a tri rig. stereo outs from my gt-10 with one going to my ward head and one going to a radial aby where it splits to the two earth g-2000's the ward runs the 4x12, the blue earth runs a 2x15 and a 2x12.the black earth runs the gk4x12 folded/2x10 cab. To get the respective volumes right, I fire up one amp at a time and adjust it. once I feel everything is ballpark I turn everything on and listen for left/right balance. then I adjust the black earth (middle cab) for bass punch you in the face tonez. Complicated? yes, but so worth it.
Edit: just read nitro/whisk's post. you rule dude. Wish you were closer to me. we has similar ideas about how to cause destruction with sound. i'm stealing the triphonic terminology, thats perfect.
