Never seen one of these before, not sure how great a deal this is as the guy normally jacks the price up for a couple auctions then brings it down cheaper but i think this is pretty cool.

Alot of 2x15's go on CL in Chicago for $300 or less, just because they are so big.

I got my late 70's peavey 2x15 for $100 but the speakers were missing several screws. And it weighs easy over 100lbs. Some dowels and new screws = bliss. Peavey a are also rampant in the Nashville area...

I think what I really want is a jazzmaster someone has painted all paisley, but sorta psychedelic over a white body.
Would be rad.

this doesnt exactly fit the criteria, but musicians friends stupid deal today is the trex bloody mary for 99 bucks, normally its like 160 or 170 or something.
ill probably hate it (because i am a tone nazi) but i got one anyway.
this is the first time in a while their stupid deal of the day was something i saw and thought to myself "wow, i kind of want that"

No idea about the price but with that upholstery and that many knobs I'd be bewildered if it didn't pump a decent amount of low end signal.

Aren't the sterling models the really cheap ones?
I'm no expert, but isn't that more than the new price on sterlings?
http://www.musiciansfriend.com/bass/ste ... -sb14-bassNot sure if it's the same model, but I thought sterlings were the chinese ones or whatever.

Sterling is a brand, that bass is a variation of the stringray made by music man called a sterling. Same name, but one is a brand and the other a model.
This is the bass in question
