They feel and sound awesome too! I would own a few of them if I had the funds.

I paid about $1100 AUD about 12 years ago for my MS500 w/flight case. They range between $1000-about $5000 AUD depending on model and options. $1800 AUD will get you a carve top, set neck version w/humbuckers.

Yeah, Matons are incredible guitars! My MS500 50th was $1250 shipped to the States with tweed hardcase from Haworth in Australia. An incredible value when you start comparing it to Gibson and higher end Fender pricing. Build quality is honestly better than any Gibson I've owned, even Custom Shop offerings for 3x the price of the Maton.

They have that new MS503 Classic now as well. Kinda in between the MS500 standard and 50th. Includes body/neck binding and set neck. Thinks it's coil tapped HBs on that one tho but they'll offer custom configurations if you ask...

Very awesome prices. Awesome build quality. Retro style that is so cool to look at. They are our oldest guitar company. Been around since the late 40s. And still owned by the same family that started it.

I'm def glad I bought one! Like many in the States I had no clue about Maton until Josh Homme started using one on Songs For The Deaf. Pretty sure his wife Brody Dalle was responsible for introducing Maton to him.

Walked into Guitar Center yesterday and actually left GAS free. Played a Danelectro hollowbody 12 string until my thumb blistered, but it just made me want to go home and play my 12 string.

Just GAS'in for some velcro and spray paint. And a brass nut to finish up this Teisco guitar

I haven't ever played with a bit crusher and now I got the GAS.
I really like the sound of sample reduction.

I had a horrible urge the last few weeks for a hollowbody.

So I have an Epi Casino incoming (tuesday).

What next? Who knows!
