what're the three without text in the front row? guessing one's the mentioned miniverb?
Left to right: etched Doc Sci RRR, tiny bypass looper, Bluebeard fuzz.

I really really love this setup! The whetstone was my first phaser but after using the moog, I love it so much more and it's so much more capable of what I wanted. Not that the whetstone wasn't incredible and tweakable but the moog just sounds how I always wanted to sound and I never used the other modes much on the whetstone so the moog is perfection for me. imo of course

I just fell in love.
Is it legal to marry a pedal board yet?
EDIT: ohs, I thought the moog was a LPF, but I'm still swoooning; fuck yeah, pre dirt.
Is the chain phase -> muff -> sdd -> tafm -> organizer -> fuck -> tape -> cathedral?

Yep, thats the chain. Kind of weird but the moog is so big, but I might just swap spots with the muff and moog.
...and I always love your board too! The only board I consistently see a cathedral on

and I think we have the same tafm(?)

I've seen a lot of Cathedrals around here lately. I'm in the market for a new reverb... any good? I like to do shoegazey stuff.

I think it's a fantastic pedal. You might have to do a lot of tweaking to get your sound just right, but there are a lot of different sounds to be had and being able to save presets is super nice. If you like doing shoegazey stuff, the grail flerb mode is awesome. If you tame the feedback on the flanging you get a really nice shifting modulation that creates an awesome atmosphere. The reverse mode sounds kind of strange but could also fit in very well with gazey stuff (especially before dirt).
I think it's helpful to consider it a reverb as well as a reverb+delay. Having control over the delay engine (with the time and feedback knobs) and the reverb time is really nice for getting LONG ass trails, but with some setting you can hear the delay pulsing like you would a standard delay -> reverb. Not bad nor good, but can take getting used to.
It also does have some quirks. Sometimes it can sound very "digital" if you have the delay time set longer, which could be good or bad. The verb signal can get pretty loud on some settings (i.e. full wet reverse). The tap tempo doesn't really work that well: when you tap in a time the first repeat comes in twice the length of the tap time, but then the repeats come in as they should. Also on some modes (can't remember which ones) the tapping will only work for a very short amount of delay time. Other modes it will tap in up to the full 2 seconds.
But all in all I think it's awesome and would certianly recommend it. I still need to get mine modded for an external footswitch for latching infinite verb

Woah, that sounds like exactly what I want. I've been using an Alesis Midiverb, which sounds shitty/great, but it flake out on me at any time and it's a rack mount and I don't have a case.

Seems like it does a lot of the same things and it will play nice if I place it early in my chain. Thanks for the detailed reply, brother, I really appreciate it. Who does the mods? That sounds amazing.

Did you get that 33 from me?
You should try running it after the Super Duper. A SHO into it sounds like Stooges or something. Explosive fuzz.
Helter - your board looks incredible, dude. Tell me about that Moog Phaser!
